Michel and Michael are the best hosts. The riad is decorated with extremely good taste. Michel has a great taste in music and would play a great selection every morning during breakfast. They giive great information on the souks, restaurants and shops. They arranged me to go to the public hamman with the riad masseur which was a great experience. I...

QUALITY is the best word to describe everything about this Riad. From the room product to the impecable service...everything here is just wonderful. I would highlight the service and both the lovely Owners are truly tapped into the fabric of Marrakesh and offer amazing suggestions on all fronts. This is a no brainer... lovely place to call home in the...

Thank you, it was wonderful have you stay. We appreciate guests who feel that the Riad is more like home. True, we are not considered a prime location - we are a 15minute walk from Jeema el Fna. But we think our location off a local shopping souk gives an authentic experience of being in Marrakech, and we are just...

My husband and I visited in late summer and can think of nowhere more perfect to stay in Marrakech. It's location in the thick of the medina was ideal and a true oasis in the wonderful chaos of Marrakech. We experienced enormous kindness (and many laughs) - Michael and Michel were fabulous hosts and we felt thoroughly spoilt in this...

We stayed only one night at the Riad Al Massarah (our first night in Morocco), but would absolutely recommend it to anyone interested in staying. The owners, Michael and Michele, were very easy to deal with and we had no problems getting the rooms we needed (2 rooms for four people). We arrived rather late in the evening (three of...

I travel a lot. I have stayed in the best of places and the worst of dives. The Riad al-Massarah is, without doubt, one of the best places in which I have ever stayed. And I am making that dramatic comment knowing the competition presented by luxury five star hotels. The Riad al-Massarah has just kicked them all gently into...

I only ever write a review if somewhere is dreadful or wonderful, its always a joy to put pen to paper on wonderful! Everything and everybody at Al Massarah are simply wonderful. Michael and Michel run a true gem, nothing is too much trouble and always with a smile! The Medina is full on and the noise levels sometimes a...

A wonderful experience. The riad is an oasis of peace and tranquility within the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. Having stayed in other riads and supposedly 'luxury' hotels in Marrakech I can say that the service at Al Massarah is second to none. The staff are attentive and cannot do enough. The breakfast a delight and hammam & massage a...

We stayed at the Riad Al Massarah in September 2015 for 7 nights. Not quite knowing what to expect of the city of Marrakech, we asked the Riad to arrange transfer and baggage pick up. We arrived later than expected but Mousshine waiting around to greet us and offer some late night mint tea (he is a true gentleman). The...

What a haven Riad Al Massarah was for us to come back to each day, after explorations of busy Marrakesh! The riad has been beautifully renovated with real style and flair. We had the lovely room at the top, with our own private terrace. Delicious breakfasts, and lovely home-cooked meals in the evenings. Michael was away during our visit, but...

I found Riad Al Massarah through an online blog - what a fantastic find it was. Michael and Michel were wonderful hosts and seamlessly organised everything we wanted to do. A must do is a traditional Hamman and massage in the riad - very relaxing! Also, a day visit to the mountains and walking tour through the Berber village was...
