The special thing about this riad is that you feel as confortable as if you were in your own home, but you are pampered and looked after with great personal care. I would go back just for the pleasure of being there, forget Marrakesh!

I felt so relaxed and rested with my stay here, I didn't want to leave. We had 3 nights, but I would recommend at least five. We felt more than comfortable, well taken care of by our hosts, Micheal and Michel and of course Abdel the chef! We experienced a hammam, although private, very authentic and a massage which was...

Thanks to the hands-on service provided by Michael and Michel which is certainly a bonus in Marrakech to ensure a hassle-free stopover we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Great service overall, beautiful Riad (even if its down some dodgy side alley-way with no lighting and puddles. One note of caution is the less than satisfactory Imlil and Asini tours. These...

I stayed at the Al Massarah for a few nights in July with my wife. We stopped in Marrakech on the way to a friends wedding up in the north. Michel was very easy to deal with in terms of making the initial booking and arranging the transfer in a private car to organising dinner at his riad for the...

This is the most marvelous place to stay, rest and refresh! Without a doubt, the best experience these seasoned Seattle travelers have EVER had! We came to Riad Al Massarah serendipitously, in total dismay and distress (to say the least). When we arrived in Marrakesh from Spain, our 4-month old reservation at a neighboring riad was summarily dismissed by the...

I stayed at this riad for five nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The other reviewers do a good job of describing the experience. Some travellers might want to know that the riad is located in a local neighborhood that is not glamorous. For me, that was a plus because the local souk is interesting and you don't feel...

I had never been to Marrakech before and I will certainly go back and head straight to Riad Al Amassarah. Michael, Michele and David were amazing hosts from start to finish. Great memories are keeping us happy back in freezing cold London. First class breakfast on the sunny, warm terrace every morning with fresh coffee, lovely afternoon mint tea. Quiet...

I'm actually still sitting in the cozy dining room of Riad Al Massarah as I am writing this (so obviously free Internet). It couldn't wait. Why? Dessert!! The fruit kebab guys. Keep some room for the fruit kebab!! Michael, I know you're reading me. As I expected, I couldn't finish dinner as delicious as it was. Thank you for arranging...

Pass through the iron-bound door from the hot, bustling lanes and alleys of Marrackech into the profound tranquility of one of the most beautiful riads in this desert city. Al Massarah is a traditional merchant's house which has recently been restored to the highest standards of simple luxury by its new owners. Their attentive staff provide smiling and well trained...

My girlfriend and I have recently returned from a 5 night stay at the Riad Al Massarah but are longing to return. The Riad is simply stunning. It is impossible to comprehend that the manic streets of Marrakech are just a few steps away whilst sipping on an ice cold G&T on the roof terrace of this beautiful hideaway. Michael...
