We stayed at the Riad Altair for four nights in early February. Given the almost total unanimity of the praise heaped upon it by previous reviewers it is with some trepidation that I venture to sound a note of caution. I should start by saying that there is indeed much good about it. The staff are indeed all delightful and...

just returned from a short break in Marrakesh staying at the wonderful Riad Altair. what a wise choice. Forget the immediate surroundings or the slight difficulty in finding the door, what an oasis of charm and tranquility once inside. They have managed to retain the originality of the old house whilst adding all the needs of the modern day traveller...

Really glad we decided to stay here, this Riad was such a relief to step into after a hard day walking around possibly the maddest city I've been to! The rooms were tastefully decorated, the courtyard was full of charm and the food we ate there was excellent... Make sure you remember which street the Riad is on when entering...

My friend and I stayed here last June and thought this place was lovely. It had a great location for visiting the souks and the square and despite being located opposite a mosque, we were never woken once by the call to prayer first thing. The riad was very luxurious, the rooms were gorgeous as were the communal areas and...

We can only echo what previous guests have said, it's beautiful, comfy rooms, staff couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. It was the perfect retreat after the chaos of Marrakech. Within the within the walls of the Medina, yet peaceful (apart from the early morning 'call to prayers' (bring ear plugs!). We initially thought we'd eat out every night...

We stayed at the Riad Altair for 5 nights in November. A peaceful and relaxing environment with friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms and a generous breakfast. Our room was quirky but very nice with one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. The Riad Altair is well placed with most of the interesting parts of the city within...

We have just returned from our break in Marrakech and stayed 5 days at the Riad Altair. They arranged collection from the airport and welcomed us with tea and biscuits. Once we'd settled into our comfortable room we had a wander to get our bearings before dinner. The Riad were able to cater for both a veg and non veg...
