We had the most incredible time staying at this riad. It was beautiful, clean, the staff were absolutely fantastic- particularly Ahmed who made our stay so comfortable and catered to our every need! It was in the perfect location- 5/10 minute walk from the souks. The riad itself was very traditionally decorated and the rooms were gorgeous. I would stay... More

We stayed for 4 days in this Riad in August of this year. Staff were extremely helpful organising transfers from the airport, providing detailed information on arrival and maps to ensure we could find our way back on the first day. The air-conditioning was perfect in the room. Breakfast was prompt and very nice. On the last day we left... More

I visited this hotel with my partner on 24/07/2016, it was beautiful, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the hotel itself was pure bliss. The rooms were beautiful, and were extremely traditional, as you would expect from staying in Marrakech, not to mention the air con was perfect. Upon arrival at the property we were greeted with a... I stayed here last week with my partner for 5 days. Situated just outside the medina (about 10 minutes walk), it was gorgeously quiet, which is definitely needed after walking around the bustling market. The Riad has 10 rooms, and a lounge upstairs, with 2 downstairs, 1 on each half of the Riad. Both reception/breakfast/lounge areas are equally as serene... More

Real Moroccan experience with exceptional comfort. The place is cozy, clean and the people who run it are truly welcoming. I was the only person in Riad during my stay but they still showed up to serve me breakfast and even gave me a bigger room at no extra charge. Just one warning - there's no airco here so if... More

To me, the hotel is located on a good spot in de Medina. It's a very nice hotel with a very good service. The bed was so good, that even with my week spine, I felt myself every morning as renewed again. The breakfast was delicious. And the whole staf was terrific. So, do you need a good hotel in Marrakech?... More

We really enjoyed our stay at this Riyadh and I think we had the best food here as well. Very helpful staff trying to attend everything you need. It's very secluded from outside giving a very quite atmosphere and the roof terrace is very nice for breakfasts.

I stayed here for 3 nights in January with my sister and my mother to celebrate her 60th birthday. We organised a taxi to take us straight to the Riad from the airport and were greeted by the night porter who walked us through the windy roads to find the front door. We were then served mint tea on arrival... More

I stayed 3 nights in February in this riad and it was amazing! First, the location is great (in the middle of the Medina), the riad itself is very well decorated and in a good shape. Then I most of all love the people and the very friendly atmosphere. The personel was very accomodating (even helped me out twice to... More

Supervalue place. I was in marrakech twice and stayed at Dar Baraka both times. First time I got a single room for less than 30 euros. This less than you will pay for private room with shared bathroom in a hostel in marrakech. Second time I got a double which is a super accommodation. The service is excellent with a... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Do you know the real meaning of "baraka?" It is "benefit!" A name which fits this remarkable building like a glove. Reknowned for its fine architectural detail, the "pièce de résistance" of this beautiful building is the lounge, adorned with an ornately painted ceiling, an ideal place for a candlelit dinner! This medium-sized riad comprises 5 bedrooms surrrounding a central courtyard with fountain. A split-level roof-terrace provides a magnificient view of the gardens of Dar El Bacha, the ancient palace of Glaouiet and the celebrated minaret of the Katoubi mosque. To complete your relaxation, a hammam and choice of massages are available. If this house is not enough to delight, then Dar Karam awaits to further seduce you with the charms of Moroccan hospitality. To provide more spacious accommodation the two houses may be booked as one. This riad, restored in respectful keeping with its surroundings, is a model of sobriety and elegance. Five charming bedrooms, traditionally furnished, once again open onto the central courtyard with fountain. Another beautiful lounge with a magnificient traditionally painted ceiling positively calls for dinner by candlelight! The split-level roof terrace shared by the adjoining Dar Baraka offers the same fine view of the gardens of the Glaouiet Palace and the famous minaret of the Koutoubi mosque - an ideal spot for stargazing at the end of a stimulating day in Marrakech!
