We have just stayed here this week and I could not wish for a better place to stay! I wanted a more traditional experience of Marrakech than a hotel which seems a bit lacking in culture. Riad Carina had so much character and it was so beautiful from the courtyards as you walk in right up to the patio. The...

My wife and I stayed in for our travel to Marrakech. Upon entry, we were greeted by an excellent team that later went on to make our stay very enjoyable there. Saeed, one of the hospitable staff members, went out of his way to make us comfortable. Furthermore, the guesthouse itself is very romantic and elegant with its construction and...

I stayed for two nights at Riad Carina and I would definitly go back. Very nice Riad in the Medina, easy to find and not far from the heart of Marrakech. The staff was friendly and very helpful...Said even offered to post a postal card for me. Leaving the city around 8 pm, they even kindly invited me to stay...

Ring the bell, and you're shortly transported to the quiet calm of a purpose-built riad just a short walk from the Place Des Ferblantiers (you must walk as the rid is on an alley way). The central courtyard is open to the sky, so you hear both birds (storks were nesting in early May) and the city come to life...

The best thing I liked about Riad Carina was it's  staff. My favourite was chef Aziza. She is so friendly, bubbly, smiling and very helpful. In fact she made rice, especially for my mother both days.Said was good enough to deliver  our meals upstairs whenever  my aged mother couldnt climb stairs. They really make you feel at home. We were a family of...

We really enjoyed this Riad, which is in a great location in the old city. It is very close to souks, sites, and squares, it is very quiet at night. The staff is outstanding, and one of the best deals in town is their home cooked meals! They also have a small pool, which I didn't see on the web...

Riad Carina is a hidden gem. The property is gorgeous and is such a surprise once you come in through the huge front doors. The people running the property can't do enough for you and our kids (3 & 7) loved the place. On both days we stayed there, we had really early start. We asked for hot milk and...

Nice rooms, lovely terrace, little swimming pool, nice people. We have enjoyed our stay and the fresh orange juice daily. But we have missed a bigger variety of breakfast e.g. ham&eggs, scrambled eggs, more different fruits, croissants, toast, cereals, chocolate cream, bric, ... Number and delivery time of daily served fresh towels can be improved.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were very attentive and friendly and fulfilled all our wishes. To recommend the "candle light dinner" at the Hotel. The Food was very delicious and typical marrocan. On the Roof you have a little pool and sunbeds for Relaxing. You need it after visting the busy City of Marrakech. This Hotel is very...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Riad Carina was built and decorated in a charming traditional Berber style. You will find natural stone, burnt bricks, terracotta, clay and wood. Come to Riad Carina and find the real, traditional Morocco. From the flowered roof terrace with pool- and spa-area, contemplate the nearby storks in their nests on the palace wall all year long. Riad Carina is located in the southern medina, just next to the ancient royal El Badi Palace, in a quiet, perpendicular street. Within a few minutes’ walk, you reach other tourist attractions as well as marvelous Djema El Fna Square. There even is a nearby guarded car park at your disposal. ... more   less
