Staying in Riad Al Jazira was a great introduction to Marrakech. The serene homely Riad is tucked away down a series of alleyways north of the Medina, at first a little tricky to navigate, but eagerly helped by the locals. The riad boasted simple modern Moroccan interior design and emphasised the abundant craftsmanship on offer in the city. It was...

A fantastic Riad with charm and a unique freshness about it. As soon as you walk in it's like a breath of fresh air. The decor is modern with a sophisticated Moroccan charm that instantly relaxes you. The perfect escape from the Marrakech craziness. Our room was a good space...giant bed and great bathroom. The staff are always helpful and...

I looked around many riads in Marrakesh before chosing Al Jazira because of it's classic minimalist style. It's originally three riads knocked into one big sumpuous The rooms are small but well designed all with a gorgeous ensuite bathroom. May are up little stairwells and feel like a private oasis. The coimmunial areas are large and bright and lovely to...

Met up with a group of friends from all over the world to celebrate in Marrakech, using Riad Al Jamira as our base. We couldn't have asked for more - Benita and her team went above and beyond, providing us with an unceasingly outstanding service and always with a smile - whatever the time of day!! A beautiful place in...

Al Jazira didn't convince us at all. Maybe it was different when it opened, but now many (most?) rooms are quite timeworn. The heatings (air-cons) are very old and don't function the way they should (this is a problem if you go to Morocco in winter). The shower wasn't really a wow-experience either but rather "I hope there is enough...

The Riad is in excellent location in the Medina close to all the action while secluded enough to have peace and quiet. The services are excellent and the environment child friendly. They also provide great breakfast with flexible timing, overall we had a wonderful stay.

We have enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything is kept clean and tidy. The communal areas and the terrace are very quiet and the breakfast is good. The only issue is that it is 5 minutes walking yo any turistical area, but once you are familiar with the nearby streets this should not...

Wonderful riad just a few minutes off the beaten path, so it's quiet and really charming to boot. Malika and Ahmed were absolutely wonderful and made our stay truly special. No request was too complicated for them, and both completely went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. When you first see the neighborhood, it's a...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
15 spotless, blisteringly white guestrooms are hidden behind heavy wooden doors and layers of linen drapes. Airy central covered courtyards have comfy seating areas: red rugs on golden brick floors, leafy palms over wooden chaises and – spectacularly – a colonnaded swimming pool in a setting reminiscent of great Carthage. Colourful accents are provided by red or purple cushions and kilims, and artfully arranged rose petals. We like this riad. ... more   less
