This riad might be difficult to find in the first place but that should not be the reason to put you off. This place offers good value for your money in overpriced place to stay like Marrakesh. I would suggest booking transfer service directly from the hotel. You will pay a little bit more but it will remove the hassle...

I stayed with a friend for 5 nights here.. absolutely enjoyed it!! Especially the mix of traditional arabic riad with modern details and decor. Excellent position to discover the city. Very helpful staff for excursion, dinner reservations or any other questions. I also recommend the Villa Al Assala at the Palmerie just outside of Marrakech for a relaxing day at...

If you are going to Marrakech, this little hotel right off the Big Square (Souks) is a must! Wonderful sanctuary after the craziness of the city. Hotel manager (Hajiba) and staff were wonderful. Hajiba could not have made us feel more welcome. She went over and above to make our stay special and even sorted out an issue I had...

Riad Al Assala is the perfect place to stay during your visit to beautiful Marrakech. From the moment we arrived, my sister and I received excellent service from all staff members, from reception to cleaning to management. There are only 6 rooms but all decorated uniquely in a traditional Moroccan way. There's a beautiful rooftop terrace and even a pool...

I was most happy to discover the Riad Al Assala Medina on my recent visit to Marrakech. The property was delightful, very clean well equipped and comfortable. Moreover, the staff, particularly Hajiba were incredibly hospitable and extremely helpful and accommodating. If and when I return, I'll certainly book again at this marvelous property.

Just a 5-minute stroll to the square. If you take the shortcut through a narrow alley, you can save about 2 minutes of walking. A lot of the old structures were retained but the interior was updated with some modern furniture and old structures/furniture were given a fresh lick of paint. I thought it was an authentic riad experience and...

My colleagues and I spent a week in the care of Celine, Salah and this wonderful team at Riad Al Assala. The Riad itself is lovely and well located a short walk to the Souk, Rue de Princes and the centre of town. All 6 rooms are comfortable and, while not opulent and extravagant, typically Moroccan and very comfortable. On...

We stayed in this riad for our third trip to Marrakech. This riad was by far the best. The location is just perfect just minutes from the Jamaa el Fna, the souks and the Koutoubia. This riad is accessible by taxi, which is quite rare and precious in the medina. The riad is quite large and has a modern, mixed...
