I always wanted to visit Marrakech with my husband and stay in a riad. For the sense of romance and a feeling of '1001 Arabian nights'. Marrakech itself is growing gradually into a very touristy city but it still gives you a good impression of the real Morocco as opposed to Casablanca. The riad where we stayed definitely added to...

Having just returned from a great trip to Marrakech, it was worth writing a review about the riad, as it was such a good part of the holiday, Palais Calipau like many of the riads in Marrakech is a hidden world, behind the large wooden door is an amazing place of peace and tranquility. Far more intimate than a large...

This is such a lovely place to stay in Morocco. If I ever come back I will stay here again. We received a friendly welcome with tea and biscuits while we filled out the paperwork. Our room was beautiful and the Riad is in a great location. It is everything you expect and a little bit more. This is a...

The Riad is truly beautiful and the staff was all ways smiley and friendly. Unfortunately, the rooms don't match the description (we stayed in a superior suite but it shouldn't be called anything more fancy than simple double room). There were no bins anywhere and cleaners never picked up our rubbish, there are no doors to the bathroom and light...

Welcomed with mint tea and biscuits on arrival. Very relaxed atmosphere and homely feeling. Would definitely recommend. Only thing is a couple of times we planned to eat dinner at the riad and they only had omelettes & salad for vegetarians both times.

The Riad is nice, clean and modern, with a decent breakfast. Location wise it is in the casbah area, which is 15 minutes from the Jemaa El Fna and the souks of the medina. However, we were left disappointed by an incident on our last morning there. We had booked a desert tour, and were due to be picked up...

I had some concerns about staying in the smaller lower floor rooms. We stayed for one night before heading to the Sahara, and then 3 more nights afterwards. On both stays the staff was charming, and we got some *very* nice rooms, probably as we were 3 people and had requested bigger rooms. In fact the longer stay, we were...

One of the best places we've been to. Felt like home, great place, amazing and very helpful staff, great room, good breakfast, good location in the center of the old town, close to most attractions. Couldn't ask for more. Definitely recommended

We were 3 ladies sharing a room for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. If you want a to stay in a traditional Riad then book here. The staff are very friendly, we were given a warm welcome by Selma and Abdul, we had arrived early and we're able to enjoy the riad's facilities whilst our room was being...

We stayed here for our last night in the city after returning from a tour to Erg Chebbi. This riad is perfect! We had arranged for our tour company to drop us off after the tour, but the driver was unable to do so due to the location of this place. We were nervous about how we would find this...
