A good 15 min walk from Jma El Fna. Warm hosts, simple breakfast. Maybe 8 rooms , nicer ones on first and second floor. Do email hotel to be collected from taxi drop off in the medina. Clean and nicely decorated.Able to organise all local excursions. I did the 3 night Sahara tour and I day to waterfalls.

A warm welcome awaits guests staying at this authentic Riad. We arrived after dark and our taxi was met by Said, the manager. We were lead through the narrow alleyways for four or five minutes until we arrived at Riad Shaden. The property comprises four rooms and two suites surrounding a pretty courtyard dining area. We were allocated a lovely...

It is the first time I have visited Marrakech alone so I was a little apprehensive. Before I visited I got in touch with Shona who was very helpful and on hand to answer any questions I had which made me feel very comfortable and confident with my decision to book Riad Shaden. When I arrived the owners Ronnie and...

I stayed here for 4 days with a friend. The riad is in a great location and is really beautiful. It's a stunning oasis of tranquility which makes it feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of the medina. We were looked after so well by Saaid and Mohamed who were 2nd to none as far as...

Riad Shaden was a really nice place to stay, with nice rooms and very welcoming staff, especially Siad who really makes the Riad feel like home. The room was very authentic with really nice designs. However, the riad was a bit of a walk away from the main Jema el Fna but if you are someone who likes to experience...

Very friendly and helpful hosts, excellent food, super private cooking class with the hosts, comfortable and clean rooms, sunny and quiet roof terrace, very good connections for organizing one and more days trips, with excellent and friendly, englsh and french speeking drivers. Especially "Abdul"!

There's nothing like being in the bustling, lively Medina...I'll taken this any day, over a staid sojourn in a typical city hotel. Our hosts were the epitome of pleasant hospitality. Our every need was catered for with a smile. Road Shaden is down a long narrow alley, a very short walk from Bab Aylen. And a 10 minute walk from...

This riad was recommended to us by friends who had stayed there last year. Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely staff, who were always around to give advice, recommendations etc. Wish we had been able to stay longer, but at least we know where we will be staying on our next visit.

Spent 3 nights beginning of October 2016 at Riad Shaden, which was just not long enough. The Riad is a lovely traditional hideaway and we were welcomed by Said who was lovely and very helpful. It was lovely to relax on the rooftop with a bottle of wine after a hectic day and we can recommend the food at Riad...

We stayed here for a short break, everything was excellent, rooms were as shown on the website, the staff were lovely, friendly and always helpful. Breakfast was good, different every day and dinners good value and good choice. Close enough to main square but far enough away to be able to experience local life. We loved it.
