We can't rate our stay with Simon and Mouna at Riad Lahboul highly enough. The Riad is stunning and Simon and Mouna couldn't have made us feel more welcome. The breakfasts were delicious, coffee and tea available and we were always welcome to pop into the kitchen for a chat. Our room was cosy and had a heater which is...

We were welcomed very very warmly. Owners are a couple from Europe - France and UK, very nice people. We had a lot of interesting conversations with the owner, he is a really open, positive and helpful guy. The riad itself has a very beautiful location - views from terrace are great and it is located in the wall of...

This is the best riad we have stayed in during 9 years of living and travelling in Morocco. A clean well renovated traditional building with an exquisite salon where breakfast is served and a beautiful terrrace to lounge in sun or shade after an exhausting day of site seeing. Simon and Mouna are perfect hosts and on the days they...

The riad is in an easy-to-find part of town that is very convenient to the main square and other attractions of the medina. Simon and Mouna are wonderful hosts, and the riad itself has been beautifully restored. The food was excellent as well.

This is a traditional-style Moroccan house, full of charm, several stories built around an inner courtyard. The only downside is carrying your suitcase up the narrow, steep stairs to your room. (Well, pulling your luggage the 200 meters or so from the nearest parking lot is another downside, but those are the choices we make when we decide to stay...

Riad Lahboul was excellent! The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable! Simon and Mouna are great hosts-they make you feel at home! The location is great as it is only a short walk to Bab Mansour Gate and the souks. Would definitely stay again!

Riad Lahboul was a definite find. The property is approached by a narrow opening in the city wall followed by an unprepossessing and equally narrow street - but don't be put off; once inside you enter a different world. The owners, Simon (English) and Mousa (Moroccan), bought a house with a wonderful main room (now the dining/sitting area), superbly decorated...

We didn't meet the (English) owners but the manager and the cook are the real prizes here. They are obsequiously helpful, eager to earn your trust and praise. If allowed, they pummel you with information about the town, history, and the adjacent souks. The cook speaks no English and is shy about that, trying to make herself invisible, but if...

From the moment my daughter and I were greeted at the door, it confirmed the friendliness and courtesy provided by Simon and his wife while booking online. The traditional Moroccan architecture with resplendent mosaic tile and artifacts made the main dining area exotic yet cozy and comfortable. The breakfasts and dinners were so good that we ate all our meals...
