This was a comfortable and friendly riad, very well located. Our room was long and narrow, but comfortable and clean. The bathroom was up 4 steps, so we used our camping headlamps at night to be sure not to fall. The roof terrace has great potential, but not well set up for lounging, snacking; it needs some development. After some... More

I visit this Riad since 2008, and it is feels like my home in Meknès. The staff is wonderful and the breakfasts are great. I like to stay in this mèdina of Meknès because it is a more authentic and less touristic town compared with Fès and Marrakech.

This is my fourth stay (and my third review) at Riad Safir. My enthusiasm for this riad and its French owners is undiminished after a four year hiatus. I have described the riad as unique, and this comes from the development of two houses either side of a small street in the medina in two quite distinct but complementary styles.... More

The most beautiful rebuilt riad with the lovely Nora and her staff and Phillipe the owner made our stay a real joy, nice breakfasts, free tea, lots of help and advice. The most comfy bed and thck quilt of any of our hotel visits in Morocco, It was cold and we were happily hiding under the thick quilt. It must... More

We loved staying here. It was beautiful, well located, and extremely clean. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, offered us tea in the afternoon and couldn't have been lovelier and more helpful.

Nice and large riad which actually comprises two houses that are connected. The service is warm and friendly. The rooms are spacious. There are spacious seating areas in both patios. We visited in December where it gets cold at night but electric heating was provided. Breakfast was decent with lots of fresh fruits, pancakes, yoghurt, etc... Small downside: WiFi was... More

We greatly enjoyed our one night stay at Riad Safir in Meknes. Our room was spacious and very tastefully decorated. The whole place is an oasis of calm and comfort. Riad Safir was an excellent choice for our one and only night in Meknes. While most travelers tend to skip spending the night here, Meknes is definitely worth the stay. Riad Safir was centrally located, not far from the main square and not too deep within the medina. Like other riads, it can seem a little daunting to get to... More
