We chose this hotel based on LonelyPlanet as budget. In a 15 days trip, this was by far the worst place for the same price that we spent in the rest. Old and smelly room with shower inside but shared bathroom. Sure that you can find something for the same price way better.

A basic hotel with an excellent location opposite the parliament and by the train station. No wifi. Wash basin in the room. Helpful staff. It was around 160 dirhams for a double which in Rabat I consider good value.

This hotel is only 3 minutes walking from main train station, from which you can take train to Marrakech or Casablanca, this is huge advantage. We paid only 200 dirhams /20 euro/ for room with shower, toilet was next to our room, but it was very clean. Also room was clean as well, you could smell washing powder, so thats...

We were encouraged by the other reviewers so we took one night in the saddest hotel we have ever been. We received a room with shower (room #14). To describe it in short: it stank, it was dirty, no towels, only one power socket in the hallway, not even in the room, the windows would not close, it was wet...

Like other reviews have mentioned, great location, short walk to the train station and Medina. Can't beat the price, either. Older place but clean and has the basics except Internet or WiFi. My room #9 was spacious, tall ceiling, huge window, basic furniture and a sink, single with 1 double bed for 120 Dh without shower (shower is 10 Dh...

The hotel has a good location, a couple of minutes from the railway station and the Medina. Its also on a very nice boulevard, with many cafes and restaurants close by. Its an old building that must have been great once, its now run down and needs a make over. The worst thing was that the roller blinds were coated with...

Rooms are basic but quaint. The staff was always helpful and the rooms were large. The beds aren't the most comfortable but the price is really great and it's perfect for a few night's rest. Right in the heart of Rabat, across from Parliment it is a quick walk to the medina, Parliment, the train station, and the tram stop....

We stayed only for a night at Hotel Central. Rooms are not super-clean and they are a bit damp, but given the relatively low price it was quite satisfactory. The shared toilet was rather clean. Location is very convenient: 2 min walking from the train station and very central indeed. Staff was very nice.

Not a nice hotel - got caught out and needed to find somewhere to stay. The hotel is dirty, the shared toilets weren't cleaned in the 24 hours I was there. Beds are uncomfortable and the staff are pretty unfriendly. Avoid.

Staying at Hotel Central is a treat while in Rabat with its colonial flare, and spotless spacious rooms. It's quite central indeed; surrounded by many restaurants, bakeries, cafes. And it's just a few minutes walk away from the train station. The staff are quite helpful and friendly--Houda, especially. I used the hotel as my refuge, and place of equilibrium before heading...
