The room we stayed in had not seen a mop for months. There was a bucket in the shower, I'm only guessing it was for keeping roaches away. The hotel has got a good location in central Rabat but it was quite noisy at night. All in all, I wouldn't stay here again.

Budget hotel. Go there if you cannot find anything else, like when all the other budget hotels in rabat are fully booked. Dirty, fourth floor room with no elevator. Rabat people told us that for the same price we could have found better. No breakfast. Hot water only at some hours of the night.

The receptionist was rude. I asked for a towel several times and he would not give us one. After I bugged him enough, he gave me wet towels. This hotel sure is for budget travel the location is great if you can look pass really poor service and cold water this is your place.

We have just stayed three nights in Hotel Splendid. Traveling by train and with backpacks, we found it perfectly situated between train station and medina and with many restaurants within a couple of blocks. The Hotel is old, yes, but has bright rooms, hot water (after a while), staff is friendly, and wifi is perfect. We were utterly surprised to...

Stayed here with friends in order to catch a 5 AM bus. The hotel was a great value for money (two double rooms, 90 MAD per person) and the rooms were nice and clean. Location is also great, in the heart of the city and about five minutes away from Rabat's Old Medina, the train station and tram. The rooms...

Only 5 minutes from medina and train station, one could hardly ask for a better location. Room on the 4th floor, quiet enough to not be bothered too much by streetnoise. Rooms are basic but clean, as is the bathroom. For that price, no complaints. Receptionists are somewhat strange characters, at time almost rude, but often enough also smiling and...

Wonderful location, friendly staff. The hotel is right at the heart of Rabat, yet rooms are quiet, nice and clean. Garden is wonderful and has free WiFi. Best value for money in Rabat! I stayed there for four nights in mid-July. I knew Rabat quite well by then and I chose Splendid for the location. It is close to the...

I have stayed at Splendid multiple times now and each time the experience have been pretty nice. The place is nothing fancy, but it's typically clean enough and stocked in terms of TP for the toilets.

Hotel Splendid is a nice enough building in the centre of Rabat (5 minute walk from the bustling medina). The receptionist staff speak limited English so don't expect too much in the way of tourist advice, they are, however, friendly enough. The rooms are straightforward and well maintained but not too flashy. The inner courtyard/garden is an ideal quiet place...

I was a bit unsure about it after reading some reviews...but the hotel is not bad at all! Great location! Near train station, near post office, medina...all you near. It was cleaned daily. The man who works there nice. Room is big. For 12 euros, more than good! Wifi is good!

Thank Bob R
