Booked this lovely, charming guesthouse at the last minute. We had the whole place to ourselves. It is absolutely charming and the host is quite charming and knowledgeable. He has lived in the US and France, speaks English, French and Arabic fluently. The location couldn't be better. You can walk all around the medina from here and it is close... More

The maison is located on the top of the kasba, great location full of typical shops, cafes and very good restaurants - you will fall in love with that. The rooms are confortable clean the bathroom has an amazing bathtub. On the top floor magnific view in a very nice terrace. The special thing is the owners which make you... More

Beautiful roof top, excellent hospitality. Without Najat and Daniel, my trip in Tangier wouldn’t have been the same. They are warm and very helpful people. This beautiful house is on top of the Kasbah, it has stunning view on the Medina and on the city bay. Having breakfast there is magical, every detail makes the place charming. The beds are... More

We are partial to smaller places that are both close to the activity in the city but also not too noisy. Maison Hassani was a perfect fit in those respects. Cordial and helpful staff who are willing to assist for people like me who have no working knowledge of the city, walking distance to markets of the Medina, and enough... More

it was a lot of fun, beginning with the hustling at the port as soon as we arrived, literally two steps past the passport-stamp control. then the taxi ride to the 'hotel', the unexpected location at the top of the kasbah, the round-shaped beds, the toilet with windows onto one of the bedrooms (better than the toilet closed only by... Couldn't have gone any better. We got picked up at the airport by the taxi that Najat arranged for us. The house is awesome, roomy and comfortable with a great terrace and most importantly centrally located in the heart of the old city steps to the old souk and literally at the doorsteps of great sites like the world famous... It was our first time in Tangier and we were picked up at the train station by their driver, Mohammed Ali. Yes, the boxer. We welcomed by Najat and Daniel upon arriving at their home. It's a beautiful place near the Kasbah and right in front of the famous Cafe Baba. They apologized for the first night because they placed... More

Following a slight hitch that the host forgot to pick us up from the port, we had a great stay here. The two biggest advantages are the central location and the well-organized trips. our hosts organised an extremely friendly and knowledgeable taxidriver named Mohammed Ali to take us to the beaches and caves near Tanger. If you do not speak... More

My husband and I with two kids, ages 7 and 12, stayed for 7 days at Maison Hassani. Daniel and Najat were very gracious and welcoming. We stayed in the bottom floor apartment with two bedrooms that are connected by a bathroom and a hallway. It had a door for more privacy. The location of the riad is in the... More

On a grand adventure road trip with my mother, we stayed at Maison Hassani for one night. Unfamiliar with anything or anywhere, we made it to the square of the medina and called for help. Nadjat, the first Moroccan host of many, came to retrieve us and continued to show us what Moroccan hospitality was all about. Our quarters were... More

“The 2 rooms on the ground floor are good for families.”

“There isn't a pool or a fitness center. I don't recommend staying in the two bedroom one bath suite unless you are family. There really isn't much privacy between the two bedrooms. The bathroom had built in windows with shutters to both bedrooms and the hallway. Hotel Minza is a great place to go to get to a pool nearby and they have a yummy buffet.”
