It's a fantastic hotel. It looks like a villa from '30s, spanish-marocco style a special colonal lifestyle feeling. Vert friendly staff and a great manager (Vincente) who helps to find everything, gave lot of usefull information. I suggest for everybody!

Vincent , the owner, is delightful. He made us very welcome and provided us with a lovely room overlooking the interior courtyard with a beautiful garden. The place is very centrally located , close to a number of restaurants and the medina. We spent two nights and wished we had more time to explore this interesting city. Breakfast, which was...

Up a little slope just down the hill from the Grand Socco and cemetery lies this safe haven from noise and bustle of the old quarter. Not all Tangier is old and dusty- the new city is like any new city and the affluent hillside suburbs of California and Cap Spartel are even less 'ancien Maroc.' The dining area/salon is...

Very charming place with a great team always trying to please your needs! The owners and the employees are very nice and discreet, the room is perfect, it's 10' to the Medina & Kasbah by foot and everyone will help you to find the best restaurants around! I recommend totally this quiet small hotel for its great hospitality and service...

My wife found this hotel on booking for our three-night stay in Tangier. Like you, we hate big hotels and only stay in the nice small family-run ones. The ratings were high (9.4 on booking.com) and the pictures looked lovely, but sadly LMDT was very disappointing. For one, the pool is filthy, more a swamp than a pool. And its...

Sorry but i don't understand your comment. Sorry again if you did not like that i mentionned to booking .com that you made a reservation with unvalid credit card, but i will very simply leave the customers judge your comment, and my guest-house. Yours faithfully Vincent

This hotel has got much going for it - an interesting design and a beautiful garden and pool area. However, when leaving you do feel like you have been cheated out of something, without really being able to know what. My view is that the service, while not rude in any way, actually puts you off. Rooms are spacious, but...

My wife and I stayed at La Maison de Tanger for the last night of our visit to Morocco. It was a lovely end to our tour. The room was large and well appointed, with a balcony overlooking the garden and pool. Service was helpful, though the only good English speaking staff member went home at 9pm. The meal was...

Amazing breakfast. Great service. Wonderful building. Beautiful backyard space with tables for taking breakfast. Plunge pool needs skimming but cools you down. Close to kasbah and Medina. A top place for Tangier.

The hotel is very basic, but the staff and their desire to really make you feel comfortable is commendable. This was recommended as one of the better hotels in Tangier, as there are not a lot (or none) luxury options. Our room was just okay, but better after the staff put incense in the room to get rid of the...
