Very big, clean rooms with bathroom and small balcony. Only problem was no mosquito nets. Location is great, small walk from ferry ports and dalla dalla stops. Breakfast wasn't great - think our papaya had gone off. But other than that it's great for the price and much better than other budget accommodation we tried in Dar

Cheap place with a central location. Rooms large with a simple bathroom. Could be cleaner and is lacking mozzie nets. It's ok for a stopover and you can walk to the port for zanzibar. Be careful of taxis in Dar as there have been many robberies. Only use real taxis but to see which ones are real is difficult so...

This lodge had very simple facilities with a simple room layout that included 2 beds, wardrobe and desk. The room was spacious however when inspecting our room for the first time we did have some problems. The first was the balcony door was broken but staff resolved the problem very swiftly. The room had a fan and air conditioning which...

This hotel is a good choice if you are just making a quick stopover in Dar es Salaam on your way to Zanzibar. It is a couple blocks from the ferry. It is basic and was pretty clean. If you are planning on staying in Dar es Salaam longer I would head out to a different area of town such...

We stayed here due to Safari Inn which is around the corner being full. This turned out to be a good thing as we preferred it. As stated already the rooms do not have mosquito nets but we did not get any bites. Location is close to port, ATMs and good local food. Basically just a cheap ok place to...

As the title says, it´s very simple but it´s cheap, could use a bit more cleaning but a good option for one night passing trough. The breakfast was 1 toast and some fruit. The bathroom could def. need some more cleaning, good wifi in the "lobby"

My girlfriend and I stayed at Econolodge for a week and a few days. The staff was very friendly and nice, most of them speak English and are very willing to help you. It's a safe hotel, there is security all through the night. The rooms are big, though some rooms are better than other, all the rooms are clean....

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Econo Lodge while we were in Dar Es Salaam for a day. It is a budget hotel (~$25-$30 for two twin beds with AC), so you get what you pay for. We had two twin beds which had one sheet covering the mattress and one thin sheet to sleep with. The shower was...

We stayed at this hotel twice, once before our visit to Zanzibar and once afterwards (both times only one night). The location is good - in the town centre, relatively safe feel to it and around 15 minutes walk to the ferry terminal. Both the exterior and interior of the hotel are pretty drab, but the room was clean and...
