A wonderful place to recover from sun, heat, unbelieveable impressions. Very nice accomodations, good food in a marvellous surrounding. Sitting outside on the terrace with a drink in the evening with the view to the savanne is a great experience.

We spent two nights at Mbalageti during our Serengeti safari. The grounds were truly remarkable. You feel like you are amongst the animals. In fact, we saw a group of zebras right outside our door. The views of the Serengeti were breathtaking from the dining area and from our suite. The Bush Dinner is definitely a unique experience and highly...

Through our safari we stayed at various places and this was by far the best! The grounds were well kept and the staff also very friendly. Being in the middle of the Serengeti, we were able to hear lions as we ate dinner which was very cool. The food was great and at the end of a long safari it...

This is a phenomenal safari lodge with incredible views over the vast Serengeti plains. It offers the most beautiful sunrise and sunset I have ever witnessed. A bunch of us visited on a friends' safari in December 2016, and this was a fantastic base for the 4 nights we spent there. The chalets are beautifully appointed with comfortable beds and...

This is a beautiful safari lodge with incredible rooms and views over the Serengeti. It should be excellent but there are a few things which are wrong which are perplexing. The staff are willing but a little stilted and stick to the script - not sure if this is poor English or a fear of mistakes. The food presentation is...

We spent two nights at Mbalageti Lodge. We never expected a tented chalet so were presently surprised to try a new experience. The views are to die for especially from the restaurant and bar area. The chalets are spread out and trying to find our way to the restaurant was a mission in getting lost! The signage is really poor...

Extraordinary experience, great hillside location with stunning views. Very luxurious tented chalets with lookouts on the serengeti, and on our side, a beautiful sunrise. Beds felt like floating, rooms nicely decorated in African style. A very beautifully located pool and dining area. Breakfast buffet was, still after all the wauw-experiences so far, beyond our expectations. Staff are very courteous and...

We (4x4 self-drive couple) started in Arusha and Mbalageti Safari Camp was our first lodge after several days camping in a rooftop tent. Even when Mbalageti Safari Camp is far west of the central Serengeti, the drive to this amazing lodge it's worth driving it. The welcome with complementary of fresh drink was nice. The stunning view (within the pool:-)...
