We have stayed at Kijereshi in the past and enjoyed it thoroughly. However, more recently we have had bad experiences there, culminating in the last time when we were served rotten beef on the bbq. The chef even admitted it had been two weeks since he purchased it. With all the staff there are just sitting around, our rooms were...

We recently stayed for 3 nights at the Kijereshi Tented Camp. The physical plant itself was very nice. Beautiful pool, spacious lounge and dining room, a boma and a lapa and the tents were very comfortable. The food was good. The staff was very nice and eager to please. There were 20 staff members servicing just three guests (my husband...

My wife and I spent a night here recently. We stayed in a tented bungalow which was pretty spacious and very comfortable. The views across into the park were beautiful and although we didn't see much game, the bird-life was incredible. The food was fine, but was probably the weak point. Superb breakfast, but only average lunch/supper. Given that they...

Our group was not booked into this camp and we were changed to this location. We wanted to stay on the shores of Lake Victoria which is not the case here. We had the feeling we were not expected. Couples stayed in the tented facilities which could be described as comfortable. They certainly were not of the standard we has...

A great stay. The camp itself features new tents with hard roofs avove, and solid toilet blocks attached. Tents are well spaced and overlooking the bush. The lodge itself is luxurious - very enjoyable to eat and drink in and lots of personality. As we ended out 3 night stay we found the car wouldn't start - the director who...

We spent most of our one month trip in lodges. This was one of the exceptions; and we were glad for it. Very nice tented accommodation; suitably secluded from each other. Very nice location in the bush; but the road in is long and rough. Magnificent dinner at night. The breakfast was fine, but the dinner stood out. The pool...

We stayed 2 nights at Kijereshi Tented Camp. We were warmly welcomed by the Manager and his staff (with a nice cold drink). The first night we stayed in a stone cottage: quite small and dark but nicely maintained and the bed was comfortable. The second night, we stayed in the Rhino Lodge, a much larger room with a beautiful...
