Lovely tented camp and rooms. Very clean, well-maintained. Beds comfy, mosquito nets provided, although not many bugs at this time of year. Swimming pool and fire pit a nice touch too - welcome after a warm day in a landcruiser. Staff very friendly, especially the 'guards' who escort you to your tents after dark - essential, since the wild life... More

We stayed here for 1 night as part of our North Tanzanian trip. We stayed here at the end of our tour and wanted to make it memorable with adding this camp to it. We should have stayed an extra night at Kati Kati camp. We arrived around 7PM, a bit later then planned. Briefing was cold and not a... More

My family and I stayed here for two nights in June. The rooms were very nice - large and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One morning they served us a traditional African meal since we had asked about it the night before. The food was buffet style and very good. The chef was able to cater to... More

We spent our two nights in Serengeti at the EcoLodge Grumeti Migration Camp. The location of the camp is about 30 - 40 minutes from the entrance to the Serengeti Reserve, so its not ideal for making multiple game drives. Once you decide to return back to the hotel, you cannot make another trip out. However, the fantastic part of... More

I was very nervous about staying here, as I've never camped before, but I needn't have worried. We were warmly welcomed by our guide Ronald & his colleague after a very long journey. We were driven to the camp site, which was about 35-40 minutes away from the air strip. Within ten minutes of our drive, we'd seen two elephants... More

Nicely situated bordering the famous Serengeti national park in Tanzania. Its located in a nice location. During the annually wildebeest migration can be seen just outside of your tent. The food is excellent and the staff are friendly. During the night wild animals walk around the tents. They even have wifi internet.

We spent two nights here for our tour of Serengeti and this is probably pretty much as good as a tented lodge gets (actually, the word 'tent' doesn't really begin to describe the rooms). The surroundings, rooms, service, food; everything was excellent. Extensive use of solar power made sure there was 24 hour lights and good supply of hot water... More

My husband and I spent 3 days at the lodge after completing a Kilimanjaro summit. The lodge, the views, the wildlife, the people, all just breathtaking! Ronald, our safari guide and driver, was fabulous. Warm, friendly, engaging and very knowledgeable. He went to great lengths to make our experience unforgettable in the best sense. At the lodge, everyone was always... More

Dont be misled by the word 'tent'! The walls may be canvass but the tents sit on stone stilts, have huge double beds, incredibly powerful showers and unspoilt views of the Serengeti. The camp is right in the heart of the Grumeti reserve and animals are free to wander in. You have to be accompanied by a guard if you... More
