We just got back from an early July trip. The weather depends on the time- cooler on the early morning game drives and if your vehicles are windowless a lot of direct wind. By noon the temp warms up and you are able to wear shorts and tanks, and the wind is a welcome breeze. I suggest layers (warm hoodie or sweatshirt and a jacket) that you can easily peel off. The Masai plaid wraps were very warm and came in handy. I suggest a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and deet insect spray. I also suggest long pants to keep mosquito and fly bites to a minimum. Do not worry about under packing- laundry is inclusive! Our laundry for a family of 4 was laundered and returned in 24hrs or less.
