Finding somewhere to stay in Harare can always be a little challenging due to availability and location. I needed to fetch my car in Harare and deal with some issues in town. Annette and Mike are phenomenal!! They went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and taken care of. Mike made sure that I was well informed...

My wife and I stayed a weekend while attending a family wedding. We had the “family” room which was spacious, comfortable and quiet. It should be fine for a family of up to five. The coffee kitchen would be useful for a family; lights, appliance, the internet connection, etc. all worked fine. Breakfast is full and bountiful, in the best...

Annette went out of her way to make our family of four welcome at the lovely Guinea Fowl's Rest. Our shared room was huge and immaculate, the dinner and breakfast were delicious, and she even drove us round Harare on an attempted shopping trip, as well as giving us much needed advice. Highly recommended. Thanks so much.

Arrived about 10pm after a delayed flight, Dave and Annette were there to settle us in and offer us a cold beer......much appreciated. Dave saw us off at 5am the next morning providing a platter of fruit for the journey. We finished our 2 week trip there and nothing was too much trouble, hospitality at its best. The rooms are...

You could not ask for better hosts Dave and Annette excel in the hospitality stakes. This lovely B&B is spotlessly clean and comfortable, what more could you ask for? This is the perfect place to stay when in Harare (bring a pack of smarties for Alfie their pet monkey and you will be his friend for life)

Dave and Annette (the owners of Guinea Fowls Rest Lodge) are so warm and friendly that you easily feel more of their home visitor than a lodge client. Their professional care is way beyond the stars we attach on this rating. Try it out and feel the experience of a lovely home away from home!
