Victoria Falls

During our stay at VictoriaFalls, we did't spend much time in Lokuthula Lodges and rather did outside visits. It is therefore difficult to make sure to be pertinent in our comments. However we did appreciate the beautiful park, the kindness of everybody and the comfort of the lodge where maybe some improvement can be made on the cleanliness.

So if you are looking for luxury this is probably not the right place for you. If you are looking for a camping type, wide open area atmosphere, then this place is probably pretty perfect. My mom, was not a fan the accommodations, and they messed up on our bedroom situation, so my brother had to sleep on the couch....

We visited Lokhutula Lodge from the 18th to the 22nd of November 2016. What started of great ended in two nightmare nights. We left on the 22nd although we could have stayed to the 25th. On the second night of our stay it started to rain. The next night, despite religiously using mosquito repellent we were bitten terribly. We even...

The lodge was comfortable with 2 separate bedrooms. Close to the Famous Boma restaurant with its nice swimming pool. Nice park with antilopes and warthog. Although a bit far walk from the Victoria Falls Lodge restaurant.

Generally we had an excellent time here and would not hesitate to recommend this resort to anyone else. The only downside was the amount of mosquitos in the lodge which made sleeping very difficult even with taking all normal precautions. Make sure you have lots of insect repellent with you. Boma Supper was great and though not cheap we felt...

A whole number of our team have passed through Victoria Falls and benefitted hugely from staying in the wonderful Lokuthula Lodges - they are an excellent base in that they have well equipped kitchens and braais for self-catering but are also close to the excellent Boma cafe and main lodge restaurant. The lodges are well decorated and homely. Security is...

An interaction with the bush ... in a town... where proper care is taken to preserve a nature interaction. Truly a pearl!!! The design of the lodges is fantastic where you can open up to the bush and eat breakfast while the warthogs stroll by or help cut the lawn , and the guinea fowl roam by.

This is a self service lodge without air conditioning.....thus very hot and LOTS of mosquitoes. Had to sleep in a cooling vest and invest in a lot of deet......there is a coil bought locally to burn that worked wonders on reducing the mosquitoes. With that said ....this was fabulous. Warthogs, Springboks, birds, baboons and monkeys every day in spades. At...

We recently completed a safari in Africa in Victoria Falls and booked into Lokuthula Lodges for a relaxing end to our 4 week trip. It was such an amazing place to stay, the grounds are immaculate and our kids loved the variety of animals that roamed freely around including the warthogs "mowing the lawns", the lovely antelope and vervet monkeys...
