The hotel premises are quite nice and of good standard for Angola, the rooms are well furbished, the gym has new equipment and the a view to the bay from the pool terrace is beautiful. Plus, if you stay in the rooms not on beach side, you get the bonus parliament view. The ride from the hotel into the city...

Rooms and facilities are very good and can be compared with good European style hotel chains (Novotel, Best Western) but for the ridiculous price (US$ 400+) they charge. Gym and pool are small but nice. Same goes for the steam room. Excellent breakfast menu. Staff, however, was in my opinion inattentive and in one case tried to rip us off...

The BAIA hotel which loosely translated mean " By the Bay" which is where the hotel is located. Checking in is quick and efficient but you have to make special arrangement in advance to pay with an American Express. The hotel appearance if very pleasing and the facility if very Clean. I had an opportunity to stay overnight at Baia. Decent service at the reception desk. Good wifi in the room. Room itself clean and comfortable. The same for the bathroom. An excellent choice for breakfast (in my case was included in the price). I would like to recommend Baia to any traveller.

Stayed 3 nights in this hotel. As it is Luanda it is very expensive. $50 for breakfast that is not extensive by most hotel standards. Rooms are comfortable, and had a nice view to the ocean. The shower was great, the best pressure I have had in any hotel I have stayed in the last 3 years. Internet was over...

I work in Angola every 60 days & I have stayed at the Baia each time. Like all the hotels in Luanda it is expensive $450. Same goes for the food, dinner & Lunch buffet @ $100 & breakfast $50. There is no way around this. All of the facilities are very good and although I read about their limited...

I have visited Luanda 5 times in the past 9 months for work. The stays were anywhere from 7 to 35 days. The other hotels were pretty bad. Old rooms, unusual smells, given keys to occupied rooms and area not safe. This hotel is clean and has exceptional service. Limited English speaking caused a problem with some laundry but they...
