This is a completely new, very modern and clean hotel by a small beach. I really loved the hotel for its high standards. It's maybe not located in the best emplacement if you are looking forward to a seaside experience in Praia, but definitely cost-value worth it. I would totally recommend it for business or layover on the way to... More

A modern clean hotel at a reasonable price. Good air conditioning with a great fish restaurant next door. Pool on the roof has good views over the city. Also good conference facilities. It's great for a business hotel, but less so for a beach one.

Clean spacious well appointed rooms, very good breakfast and free wifi. Overlooking the bay and in a nice setting with a good restaurant opposite. However the administration and organisation of the hotel is appalling. It has to be said the female staff were a lot more competent than the males which seemed to be a general theme throughout the island... More

The hotel is nice and modern, but the city is not great, neither the beach. Friendly staff. Big rooms and wifi. Watch out for taxi drivers is Praia/Santiago. Ask/combine the price before entering the car.

Lovely place, even better when they finish the refurbishment. Spotless, quiet and the personnel very helpful, overall Jericia, she help us out with all the questions we had. Nice pool on the roof. Don't expect a great view from seaview rooms. Breakfast was limited choice even for a continental selection.

We arrived here in the middle of the night from the airport and felt very welcome. The Hotel is a good deal with Air Con and free WiFi. The location is good to explore Praia: Walking Distance from the Platô and the Beaches to the south.

I had a brief stay between flights and it was an eye opener. It was obvious that the taxi driver wasn't happy with such a short journey. He said the fare was 10 euro and I gave him a 20 to which he said that was right pointing at the 2 of us saying 2 x 10. Having sorted that... More

We stayed here for a whole week at the end of a month in Cape Verde travelling. We cannot recommend Hotel Perola enough. It's well located near beaches, The Plateau and other key areas in Praia. The rooms are ample, clean and well serviced. A welcome retreat from a busy day exploring the city and surroundings. But what makes the... More

We decided to stay at Perola a few nights before our morning departure back to the States. We had a list of hotels in a guide book for Cape Verde. Before deciding we called the hotel up to ask about the amenities and price. The gentleman on the phone gave us a reasonable price, and so we booked with them.... More

I thought this was a perfectly nice hotel, with helpful staff and good rooms, at a fair price. the proprietress was particularly helpful. she answered a number of questions and provided detailed descriptions of how to get around the island, and everything she mentioned was accurate. overall, I think Cape Verdeans are just exceptionally nice people, from a warm culture,...
