I stayed at Kings for a week in September 2016 as part of a business trip. It is moderately priced and modestly but adequately furnished. Breakfast was great. Bar was good. I did not eat in restaurant in evening. Staff were polite and exceptionally willing to help. Transit to and from airport was offered by hotel. There are several markets...

I just returned from my 17th year of visiting Ethiopia during the summer. This time I stayed at the Kings Hotel. being a frequent visitor there, they treat me like a king. The staff is so friendly and will cater to any reasonable request. From shoe shine, clean laundry, make up the room, room service, coffee to my room, great...

I was shown into what was supposed to be a clean and ready room, but I don't think it had been cleaned at all. The floors were dirty to the point where they turned my feet black when walking around barefoot, and the bathroom exuded a constant low-grade foul smell. My bed looked like it had been slept in with...

Couldn't get a room elsewhere due to a conference, so landed up here. * Room cleanliness was marginal. * Shower room is a dump - poor shower, 1 towel only, no shelf in bathroom, bad mirror & drainage was poor leaving a puddle. * Internet was ok * Food - nothing to write home about. * Service was poor with...

I had booked this hotel a month before travelling on 23 March 2015. But when I arrived on 19 April 2015 I was told that they did not have any room. The Night Manager did not even bother to ask the name. The Night Manager then started telling me other hotels where I could go to.

Kings Hotel is located very close to the AU on one of the busy streets. What I like about the hotel is that they are constantly updating and improving the rooms. The staff are very helpful and the rooms are quite large. It is still a third world hotel with wobbly beds, but it is clean and secure. The Wi-Fi...

The best thing about this hotel is that it is walking distance from the AU Head Quarters and that it has Wi-Fi of reasonable speed. I stayed there for four nights and I think I got the worst room in the hotel because I was the last to check-in. The lights were deem and they could not repair/replace them. The...
