Visiting Ghana for the first time with my mother was a great experience I am willing to live again. The hotel staff were courteous and ready to help with even your finding your way around Accra. Great food and ambiance too.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights because we woke up to see big massive rats eating our food. It was unbelievable! Big rats in the room. They moved us to another room for the night but we couldn't stay we left the following morning.

Many citizens of Accra only get 12 hours of electrical power every other day, but the Blue Royal Hotel manages to supply power to its property consistently (at least during the 30 hours that I spent there). Working air conditioning is a most welcome respite in Ghana's sweltering heat. Located in the heart of Osu, this hotel lies close to...

Located in the bustling neighbourhood of Osu, Blue Royal is my go-to hotel for stays in Accra. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. All the basic amenities such as AC, TV, cupboard, etc. are provided in the rooms. The double rooms have two large cushy sofas for tired travellers to crash on, plus a desk & chair combo for...

If you need to have acess to central services and want to stay a cheap hotel.the hotel is cheap and has basic services. Its not a classic hotel. Its suitable for the economic traveller. Doesnt have a good scenery. Infact if you peep thru the window you are likely to meet a junk resdent outside and host of scattered flea...

The location of this hotel is great: right off the main street of Osu, the trendy part of town. Walking distance from many real nice restaurants and casinos. And the bed was enormous and with comfy pillows. Other than that, I hated everything. Staff was all smiles but the lights were out. Breakfast was served in the restaurant below, which...

I have stayed here in the past and found the location convenient. Since we were arriving on a late flight, I decided to book a place I was familiar with. It was ok but I really think that $90USD is way too much for what they offer. I know Osu is expensive but the room was dark, quite shabby and...

I spent two nights in Accra at the end of a three week trip to Ghana. I was traveling with a few colleagues, and based on their prior reasonably good experience at the Blue Royal Hotel, we stayed there again. The neighborhood where it is located is great—good restaurants and shopping nearby, easy access to other parts of town and...

Stayed here for 2 nights in March 2013. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful, though they were almost clueless about credit cards. The room we had was not very clean. Plumbing, hot water and wifi were patchy at best. Otherwise, it was a satisfactory stay. The location was excellent and we were not more than a few...

Booked the deluxe suite - spacious, shabby and $120 per night. Aircon worked well but the lights didn't. When I tried to pay by credit card I was told my card had been rejected - minutes later it worked fine at the Koala supermarket. The Wifi didn't work at all. Moved next door the the El Elyon which was not...
