Stayed here for work in and around Lilongwe and was thoroughly impressed. The design elements and art throughout the property are perfect. My room was massive with a brilliant layout. I loved the harsh modern elements complimented by such an incredibly comfortable bed and cozy, lounging area. The staff was very friendly. Always eager to help with any request. And...

Well their prices for a not so very good 4 star hotel is way over priced, hotel is not worth the $220 they ask a night as their rooms are average and well what they ask for drinks and food is way over priced compared to a 5 star hotel down the road at almost half the price. Can go...

Wow far above the rest in Lilongwe. Excellent service, food was amazing. Staff were attentive met me on the steps, prepared a table, consistent throughout. Had steak, Greek salad, chocolate desert. Room is a bit loud but not annoying. Manager came and checked on my service and satisfaction. Been coming to Lilongwe for 15 years, great to have a nice...

Staying at Latitude 13 was one of the best hotel experiences I have had. The staff treated me exceptionally well (and responded to requests quickly), the room was immaculate, and the food was terrific. After a week of travel in Malawi, it was a perfect way to end my time in the country as I awaited my flight. I thoroughly...

We really wanted to like this hotel. it is in a great neighborhood & location near the airport & decor looks really good. We had an amazing large room w/ a big comfy bed. There is a pleasant lawn area in the back off the restaurant. The downsides, however, ultimately undercut the good. There was lots -- lots-- of smoking...

Some colleagues and I, all working in Lilongwe for a few weeks, tried to go to dinner here soon after the renovation. Masses of crushed white marble on the ground (that will get dirty soon!) and 'sophisticated' lighting. The place was buzzing with smart people and it was difficult to get any service. We were eventually told it was full...

Following our own experience (18th December 2016 - 1 night stay - Garden Suite 3) travelers considering this hotel are recommended to consider alternatives. If you have the patience and time to read this you may find it of some benefit; bear with me. Thanks to Kenya Airways changing our flight time to Lilongwe we could not connect with our...

I entertained business guests for dinner at this hotel and it is a jewel in an otherwise bleak city. Food was delicious and all furnishings and accents were first rate. Service was quick and professional. The surrounding hotel grounds look very well appointed with well kept pool, excercise room and well maintained grounds/landscape.

I have stayed at Latitude 13 on several occasions, for both business trips and holidays. The last time, in October 2016, Latitude 13 however charged me twice for a one night stay. Mistakes do happen, and I noticed this one, and therefore contacted Latitude 13 end of October to be refunded. Despite repeated efforts to get my money back, and...

I stayed here for the second time early December, just after the opening of the new part. The garden Rooms are fine, well appointed and with good wi-fi. The meals are excellent, both breakfast and dinner and I look forward to staying again soon.
