We stayed at quiet corner for 2 nights between Christmas and New year. Firstly it was difficult to find and the taxi was not familiar with the hotel. Even when we arrived there were no signs outside the guest house at all or at reception to confirm we had reached our destination. The guest house itself was clean, tidy and...

We slept here last night and the night before. It was really nice! This was the first stop in Mozambique, and Andrew (the owner) was really helpfull with answering our questions and giving us and idea how to go to other places. Also the staff is really nice and honest. Even when i was leaving a 'tip' for the cleaner...

My first home when i arrived in Maputo! And its was lovely......its a place that grows on you! Being away from home on assignment requires a good support system including a comfortable place! Even when out of the Quiet Corner, I still pass by for a cup of tea! Thanks to the wonderful staff and Andrew! And for making Maputo...

We stayed at this B&B before and after fieldwork in Gaza Province and were very happy with the rooms and service. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the owner. It is near the University and within walking distance of a really good Indian restaurant, also not expensive to get into the city centre by taxi. The B&B's own transport...

This nice little B & B is pretty good value in a city where accommodation seems vastly overpriced. It's clean, simple and quiet (as its name suggests!). There's a pleasant courtyard out the back, good wifi, and you get a pretty good breakfast (it's a serve yourself arrangement, with quite a few options.) The italian owner, Andrea, is charming and...

I stayed 16 days in April 2014. The guest house has very good client service, warm staff who never miss to say "Bom dia" and assist whenever possible. Breakfast is wonderful and by the way, you can cook your own meals in the very well maintained kitchen, I tell you everything works its incredible. The rooms are very comfortable and...

I stayed here for one night at the end of last year. The room was clean, basic and attractive, and the B and B has polite, if disinterested staff. However, my three main issues with the place are as follows: First, the cost - this place is a basic B and B. This does not justify the large cost of...

I stayed 4 nights in February and had safe parking for my car, a good clean room and efficient friendly staff responding quickly to my requests. I enjoyed staying in the guest house and it is a viable alternative to staying in overpriced hotels. I'll definitively visit them again when in Maputo.
