Only stayed one night with a small group of colleagues. Very peaceful and relaxing, quiet yet only 20 mins from Windhoek, friendly staff, lovely comfortable rooms. Sundowners on the terrace - stunning views across hills - followed by an excellent braai. V friendly staff. Dusty paths to rooms and v dark at night so take torch or use torch on... More

We stayed 4 nights at River Crossing. We really like the staff who were super friendly and happy to go out of there way for us. The rooms are spacious, clean and homey. The views are fantastic and there's a pool. If you're staying in Windhoek this is a short drive from the city centre. Just be aware that at... More

The dirt road is long and very dusty but a small price to pay for location and view. Food and service was good. Nothing very strong in the bar and wine arena. The rooms are located away from the main building but the path way to rooms 12 - 20 are dirt walk ways where your pulley case does not... More

I spent the first and last day of my trip to Namibia at the River Crossing Lodge and loved it, it is very peaceful and relaxing. The view is stunning the staff is very helpful. I can't wait to be back with my better half ☺️. Overall, nice stay, I would recommend it.

Hotel is conveniently located on the outskirts of Windhoek so you are avoiding any rush hour traffic and it's a bit closer to the airport then your typical downtown hotel. The rooms are basic although the shower is pretty weird - it's an open shower, but shower slope is not proper and so you end up with water on the... More

We booked a chalet at the lodge for two nights on our arrival in Namibia. The lodge is a short distance from the airport and only a few kms from the city. We booked a chalet with a mountain view and were very pleased with the one we were allocated (number 15). However all of them have great views as... More

I stayed here on the first and last days of our 10 day self drive around Namibia. It wasn't the best place we stayed, but it was clean, friendly, and comfortable. It isn't that stunning, modern or plush. When we were there there was a corporate party staying from Windhoek at a conference taking place there. But,It has easy access to and from the... More

First stop on my honeymoon in Namibia and found it easily coming from the airport - as we arrived after dark it was a handy location (closer to the airport than downtown Windhoek). In saying that, it was still about half an hour's drive to get there. Check-in was pretty seamless but I wouldn't call it a warm welcome. We... More

River Crossing is a wonderful place to stay particularly upon your arrival or for your last night in Namibia because of its proximity to the Windhoek Airport. Located about 20 miles from the airport in the same well maintained paved road. The inn consists of about 20 individual cottages surrounding the main building. Good food and the room rate included... We returned to River Crossing as we stayed there 3 years ago and apart from loving the location were very happy with the accommodation. Sadly that was not the case now. The bungalows look well worn and were not the cleanest. It was very obvious that no one checked the rooms to ensure that all was in order as glasses... More
