The Polytechnic was such a frustrating experience because they almost have it. If the staff just tried a little harder, the place would be amazing. The towels were old and frayed, My geyser was not working for the duration of my stay at the hotel...More

Simple menu as ever and good, generally a good place for lunch and was on this occasion, but one must get there early as it has the capacity to slip into Faulty Towerish mode as diners increase and covers are depleated.

Stayed here 2 nights. Very spacious rooms. My room had no mini fridge unfortunately an the light in the bathroom was too dim. Needs a stronger bulb. No DSTV movie channel, only very few channels with news and sport. The restaurant was unfortunately closed both...More

Hotel is perfect. Love the rooms clean and fresh wifi tv cosy.and the food of course it has to be good. Its a hotel school. One problem put on the correct contact details. Maybe the reception number would help

Its very much a place for visiting academics. Rooms are large, clean and organised. Bathroom is large but no shower curtain so easy to slip on the floor. The breakfast room has an atmosphere a bit like a library. No the place for children.
