Stayed in this hotel at the beginning and end of small group tour of Namibia This is a large city centre hotel that more than serves its purpose at the beginning or end of onward travel. Rooms are comfortable and clean, staff are helpful, safes available in rooms and hotel and environs feels safe and secure, breakfast is more than...

Good for a city stay. The 4 star Safari court is much better (rooms, food) but the 3-star Safari hotel is alright but not as comfortable as the 4 star one. Very busy hotel. Buffet in Welwitschia restaurant could be improved. Very good in Acacia restaurant (Safari court). Beautiful settings in Acacia (outside as well).

The hotel is part of the 4 star Safari Court You can use the business centre plus lavish swimming pool & bar. Staff very welcoming and provide friendly service to your needs. Came away with Facebook 'friend request' by one of the staff....accepted!

Although exclusive Safari provides a comfortable family experience. Beautiful rooms, great food, in close proximity to activities to do in and around Windhoek. Entertainment and immediate necessity are all accessible and available. You will have a blast and peaceful sleep.

Fawlty towers start to stay with tour guide sorting out hotel staff when they failed to have booking ready, even though already confirmed. All very confused... Tired rooms at southern edge of complex, no bottled water even tho we asked. Location of these rooms near laundry area so happy staff strolling by at wee hours may be a bit noisy....

Having read the reviews here it was with some trepidation that I arrived. Sure the rooms are dated, but they are very spacious and clean. They have everything you need. The public spaces are great and the staff are brilliant. I especially liked the pool area, and the peacful atmosphere. On this trip I have stayed in both hotels and...

The first room allocated on arrival, fridge didn't work, aircon broken, not clean. Gave me another room, basin drain blocked, toilet seat damaged, power went off at 6:35 am, then water as well. Reported blocked drain and toilet seat. Arrived back after a day's work to find nothing repaired, drain still blocked, and drinking glasses left dirty. After complaining, they...

A small group of us stayed at the Safari Hotel en route to and from Johannesburg visiting Namibia. As is almost universally true in Southern Africa the people are most friendly and anxious to please. However, it is in need of some tender loving care as the rooms, although comfortable, had small things needing repair - like no basin plugs...

I thoroughly enjoyed my week in the Safari Hotel in Namibia. All the staff were absolutely great. The hotel was reasonably quiet as it was mid-winter in Windhoek - although nice and warm during the day. The conference facilities were fine and all the food as excellent. Room large and comfortable, albeit quite old fashioned.

Hi there I stayed at the hotel in room 1037. Both days I was there there were no hot water. Not one of the managers had the decency to tell me or the other guests. They left it up to the reception guys. After complaining again to the reception they moved me to room 132 in the business rooms. I...
