Villa verdi is a comfortable and safe place in Windhoek Namibia. There is a safe place with guard for yr car. The rooms are spacious and elegant decorated. To relax there is a small pool and a nice reading area. At breakfast you get fresh fruit and the cook will make you a cooked breakfast if you like that. A...

I spent 5 nights here in the centre of the Polytechnic University area and close walking distance to the centre of the city. The staff was courteous, respectful and helpful and they were very pleasant to talk to. Breakfast every morning 7-10 was buffet with nice variety and a hot breakfast option (eggs, bacon, etc) was always offered in addition...

After arriving late, we found the receptionist keenly aware of our travel fatigue and quickly placed us in a comfortable room with all the amenities expected in a small, yet quite nice hotel. Our room was quiet, clean and had TV (rugby matches) and hot water. Wifi is available in the main reception/breakfast area. Down side: Does not serve beer...

I would like them to offer wifi to all rooms instead of at reception only. Breakfast buffet was good but please have more selections for vegetarians. Proximity...

However, scratch the surface and you find lots of problems: - My room had no closet for putting my clothes - Aircon not working - Faucets basically falling off - Loads of mosquitoes - Towel...

The last night of a wonderful 12-day trip that included Etosha, Damaraland, Swakopmund & Sossusvlei. Everywhere we went we stayed in lovely settings with generally very satisfactory lodgings. Until the last night before returning home. We would be arriving in Windhoek late afternoon, and had to leave at 5am to the airport. We asked for no frills, as it would...

Villa Verdi had some highs but also some lows. The property is large with a number of rooms, apartments, main building and some outdoor places on site to relax and have a drink. The bedrooms are very large with big bathrooms. Unfortunately, the room I stayed in had no cupboards to hang clothes, and no hangars either. The room had...
