Nothing bad, nothing great either... Very clean, centrally located, very nice breakfast and garden, but beds were not great, and the rooms were basic. We found it expensive for what it was, although we stayed in Kigali only that one night so didn't get to compare with other hotels.

The good: - A beautiful tropical garden - French style breakfast pastery (do not expect eggs or anything prepared however) - Mosquito net over the bed - Free wifi everywhere The bad: - No restaurant - Gave us reused, home refiled, water bottles for drinking water - Beds are not the best - No atmosphere - No beds at the...

The hotel has a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. It is centrally located, just opposite the renowned Milles Collines hotel. Staff are always available and helpful and the owner is often on site to help with any problems. The rooms are simple but have everything you need, each with it's own balcony or terrace. There is no restaurant or bar, but...

We used this nice little hotel twice during our stay in Rwanda, at the beginning and at the end. It was, in a way, our base from where to explore the country further. It is located in the city centre, but very quiet. Airport pick-up worked very well though it was way after midnight (and our plane delayed by about...

This is a nice, smaller hotel located slightly outside of downtown Kigali. The grounds are a nice microcosm of the “green Rwanda” stereotype, with many flowering plants and a lot of associated birds, as well as an attractive pool area. The location, despite being in town, is rather quiet as you are located downhill from the closest road. However, the...

The location in central Kigali is good. It’s in a quiet area. The grounds are pleasant, with a small pool. The room is so-so. It’s clean, and looked out on to the garden. The bed was OK, if a little on the firm side. The shower was good, and the Wifi signal reliable. There is a room safe, and a...

Modern, clean, great breakfast and fantastic location. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are modern and spacious overlooking a lovely garden and pool.Lovely boutique hotel. And it's central location makes it easy to walk around Kigali. Highly recommended. Don't be put off by the somewhat sparse website. This place is fantastic!

From the extremely courteous staff, serene environment, the intimate feel the botique hotel gives - what's there not to love! I got to stay at the hotel by fluke - the hotel I had initially been booked had a problem with the room I was checked into and being full, I opted to look for another - and that's how...

Stayed last year for 2 weeks at Garni du Centre. The rooms are comparativly simple, but very clean and well maintained. the staff, including the management is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The locations of the Hotel allows for nice evening walks around Kiyovu to different restaurants. For Kigali the place offers good value for the money. We recommend this place...

This is my first visit to Kigali so cannot compare Garni du Centre with other hotels in the Capital. However I have travelled widely in Africa over 4 decades and I can say that this small hotel is one of the most delightful resting places and that I can strongly recommend it to travellers who are seeking quiet, tasteful, convenient...
