Nice and small, this hotel is located in Le Plateau, quiet area of Dakar but very close to the city center. It's mostly surrounded by embassies and old colonial villas. About the hotel : generally clean, very spacious room, immaculate bathroom, decent Internet Wi-Fi speed. The breakfast consisted in bread, jam, butter, croissant, coffee and a juice. The only downside... More

I was in Dakar for a work trip and chose the Rysara because of its reasonable rates compared to other business hotels and its location close to my country's embassy. There was an airport pickup service (cost extra) that worked out very well. The room was nice and clean, but there was one minor inconvenient feature. The curtains are really... More

I stayed here on business and found it be a very comfortable stay. The decor is modern - the hotel is new and it stands out in terms of quality in comparison with other local similar hotels. The one significant down side was the breakfast - there was little choice available and presented with same things everyday (half a baguette,... More

Only had a brief stay at this hotel, but can recommend it. Good size room with an adequate en suite. Firm but comfortable bed. Breakfast menu is limited but the food is fresh. The only draw back is there is no room service. The staff are very attentive

After a few trips to Dakar, all of which I tried different hotels, I am extremely glad to have found this hotel. Finally a fine hotel, fitting the needs of a business man. In contemporary style, modern, quiet and clean. As opposed to the majority of West African hotels. I was given an upgrade to a junior suite for the... More

Very well located in the heart of Dakar, close to restaurants, bar and amenities. Very attentive staff, always keen to help, even on the most daring requests!!! Rooms are nicely furnished and comfortable. Will def go back, when in Dakar.

I stayed 1 week at Rysara -- members of staff are incredibly helpful, friendly and professional. The hotel infrastructure is modern, absolutely clean and everything functions pretty well -- as it should be. Food choice is limited, but the food is fresh and great. A big thanks in particular to all the service staff for making my Dakar stay memorable!
