Great location near Cafe du Rome, port and also Corniche. Easy to access the vibrant night life in Almadies. It has nice restaurant with variety of food. Staff very friendly, rooms bit simple but clean. Good for short stay.

This hotel is located right in sandaga market and market is just 10 mins walk from here many other well known restaurants in vicinity all walkable distance of approx 10 mins. Rooms were clean and good. Only drawback is there is no elevator in the hotel but it was manageable as most buildings in dakar dont have elevators.

Large AC rooms with reasonably comfortable beds and a wonderful helpful and friendly. Try and book a room with breakfast included. The breakfast was terrific, and was 4500 ($7.50) for a continental. The breakfast staff were great. The location is good and there are lots of eating places nearby. Stayed five nights . The e was some construction during the...

Stayed at the hotel for a second time. Again no complaints about the hotel. Stayed in a suite this time which had a separate lounge area. Room very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Good wifi. Kitchen facilities in room. Hot water in bathroom, which is sometimes a luxury in senegal. Good, working air conditioning.

Stayed here for 4 nights as had an appointment with the British embassy, the hotel is within walking distance from the embassy which is great. Short taxi ride into central Dakar, supermarkets and the port to get the ferry to Goree Island. We stayed in a double room. It was very basic and quite dated compared to the pictures. Air...

We weren't able to stay here for more than 1 night as the quality was very poor. We stayed in s standard double, it smelled of mould and the rooms are literally falling apart with chunks of skirting board missing, rust all over the bathroom ad a hole in the floor, - desperately needs a repaint and re-plastering everywhere. We...

We enjoyed our stay. The residence is in a great central location. The room I had was the standard room which was clean and comfortable. The staff are very pleasant and room has air con and fridge. I would return in the future but will chose a studio with cooking facilites and a larger room.

Just 300 meters from the presidency. Safe, and a lot of night clubs and restaurants around. They were just opening a restaurant in the hotel. The place is quiet and nice though the whereabouts may be cleared from beggers around.

We stayed in this hotel for five nights in a standard room after a bad experience elsewhere where we had checked out after one night ! The Residence du Plateau is right in the heart of the town & the first impression was welcoming and very clean. The rooms were cleaned well daily. I loved the location - surrounded by...
