Stayed few days as I wanted a break from family and some relaxing time. Unfortunately the beach is little walk away-need to cross the busy road. The good thing is nice bar with life music. During the stay we discovered amazing local band Takeifa which we have seen since every time we are in Dakar. Nothing spectacular but location and...

The staff here are great and can't do enough to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. I ate at the onsite restaurant Charly's where the food choice was good for dinner - I ate Mexican dishes both nights. The room is basic, but if your just looking a place to rest your head at night then this is a...

We had the most amazing time. Every one of the staff members went out of there way to help with whatever our needs were. And they are all so polite. The food was excellent! The rooms were clean, quaint and charming. I loved the pathways. I enjoyed a very relaxing manicure and pedicure. The pools are just amazing. The night...

Hotel Sunugal offers small bungalows that are clean and comfortable. If it is your first time in West Africa and you are a Westerner, just keep in mind things will be a little different...but this is a place that westerners will find comfort and ease. The bungalows are clean and have mosquito nets. There is a clean bathroom in the...

I loved my stay in this charming place very conveniently located close to the airport, shops and beach. I was travelling on my own so safety is really important to me and it was just perfect. The complex is charming with little paths leading to the private villas, it really feels like a private village! The staff were so helpful...

The reception is dusty and scruffy and that set the tone for the rest of the hotel. Rooms are small and worn out, the bed sheet and towels are old. I guess they try to clean but the room is just worn out and many things are failing. little is left from the cozy concept around the bungalows. we woke...

This hotel is far from the most comfortable and beautiful hotel I've ever been but I liked to stay there. It's clean, and safe. What I liked was the hotel staff, always ready to help. The hotel's restaurant, Charlie, is open to the public. It is excellent and the frequency is also good. During the day you can enjoy the...

It was the first time I felt "betrayed" by good reviews on a hotel. But it's all relative. It's all about expectations. If you read shiny reports, and expect a 3-star plus hotel with value for money, you will definitely be disappointed. If you understand, well-ahead, that you are booking yourself a room (bungalow is an overstatement) in a 2-star...
