A good bet when looking for a place to stay in Kampala. The Sheraton is close to restaurants and bars and walkable distance from a mall. The restaurant inside the hotel also serves decent food, and the gardens are nice. The band can get a bit loud at night - this didn't bother me as much on the 9th floor,...

The place was real busy. People kept coming and going, reminded me of a mall. Rooms are quite small. Food is good, unsmiling female receptionist. Good accessibility to the city since its in the heart of the city centre

The Sheraton is exactly as expected: catering to foreigners and priced accordingly. It is good for business travelers in Kampala staying anywhere from a few days to weeks based on the amenities and location. Security at the hotel is high with multiple check-points for entry. The pros: the breakfast buffet has endless options, the gym is excellent, massage is good...

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The rooms are very nice, bright, and clean. I didn't interact with the staff much because I didn't have any issues during my stay. The times I did, they were friendly and responsive. The expansive grounds around the hotel are nice as well. Depending on what side of the hotel you are on,...

the hotel is really showing its age . the rooms are old and frankly dirty with some of the rooms with shower curtains rather than walk in showers. i was very surprised that this hotel is considered a 5 star its is a 4 star at a stretch . i would recommend the sareena as an alternative

We were at teh Sheraton for just one night before heading on a charity mission in Torro. I have visited the hotel before but just for food at the Polo Bar. The room are decent and tidy, all the mod cons are there. Although the bathroom is basic and dare I say dated its good enough for where I was...

My room was clean and comfortable with lovely views of Kampala. Slightly disappointing not to have a walk in shower. Breakfast was good and abundant. Front desk and other staff were excellent and did their best. Hotel meals were decent. I would come back but bathrooms should be updated.

The hotel is on top of a hill and is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Being a large hotel I found the personal service touch distinctly lacking. I was there for 7 nights and was never recognised by any of the staff (apart from those running the conferencing facility) although I never left the hotel. My room was ok size-wise but the...

Banqueting facilities offers all necessary requirements good service to share meeting and good menu as well. SevenSeas restaurants is a mixture of old fashion restaurant under some Gazebo, food is nothing to say, good but missing the wow...

Good rooms. Please do not use the restaurants, the "gym" or the "spa" all which need a serious renovation. The pool is lovely and with Kampala's brilliant weather it is a must. I used the business center and was very pleased by the service, the quality of all the products I needed from them and that it was open very...
