I spent 10 nights at Adonai in November and I loved every minute. Sarah and her team (Betty is wonderful!) are so hospitable , friendly and caring. The chef, Francis, went above and beyond to accommodate some of my food challenges, all in good cheer. The place is clean , safe and has a very homely feel. Wifi is available...

Ok place about an hours walk from the city. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is good, but lacking in options. A friendly chef prepares your eggs. The rooms are decent. The bed was ok, with a mosquito net. The shower was of the type with instant hot water, but the strength of the water flow could be better....

I love this place. Especially that helped her whose name is Sarah. The people here are lovely. This is my third time here. I will come back again. The compound is very large. Safe for walking. Nice view the city because this hotel is on an overlooked. Very very large Lounge area. Also a very large upstairs patio for sitting...

I stayed there for three nights in March 2016. I had a nice room with a queen-size bed on the main floor. It was entirely acceptable. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was fine. Very quiet. They do not have air conditioning, but Kampala at about 4000 feet was not too hot and the fan was fine. Good breakfast...

A group of us travelled to Uganda and stayed at Adonai House, from Feb 12-22, 2016. It far exceeded my expectations!!! This is not a 5 star hotel, it is a home away from home. The staff were exceptional. Thank you to Francis for the amazing food he prepared! Thank you also to Sarah and Betty for being so accommodating...

A group of us stayed at Adonai for 10 days over the presidential election in Feb. 2016. We felt very safe at the guesthouse even during a time of electoral violence and unrest. We thoroughly enjoyed our interactions with the staff. They offered wonderful hospitality and excellent food.

Adonai guesthouse is a great place to stay while in Kampala as the grounds are lovely and peaceful with 2 terraces to enjoy the outside space. The rooms are basic but comfortable and the staff are amazingly friendly. Breakfast is included in the rate and dinner can be provided on request for 10$ which includes 3-4 courses.

Stayed in many hotels in Kampala, and in the mid-range this is surely one of the best. Rooms are clean and beds ok (not large). Don't expect airco. Reception is friendly and willing to help; food is allright (don't expect haut cuisine). The airport shuttle is overpriced though. I didn't expect that.
