Stayed one night, traveling on business. Very clean well appointed rooms. Also wonderful food. Found it a bit expensive but very friendly and helpful staff. Will recommend if you prefer smaller boutique hotels. Nice showers too.

I have been visiting the Emin Pasha over the past five years. On my first visit it could be classed as one of the small luxury hotels of the world. It is still good but fallen from the excellence it once held. There have been changes of ownership and management which have seem to have a bearing on the matter. Once... More

Went for a quiet spa day away from the noise, guess what we find instead, screaming and being preached at! This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel..... I am so glad I didn't pay for a room here, paying for the spa day was a waste, not because of the spa, the treatments were wonderful.

Terrible breakfast that made us ill twice! Normally it was us and a another table at breakfast, but the girls working there was busy standing there and talking instead of helping. Cold coffee, destroyed smoked salmon, destroyed pineapple. We felt bed complaining about everything. And they were mad. So after some nights we changed our hotel and enjoy our holiday.... More

This is really an oasis of peace in a turbulent city. The garden is very special, the spa with its massages great, the rooms and the whole interior very nice and the food is good. I am looking forward to my next stay. Best

We just stayed here for one night...lovely room ...very cosy interior and lush green exterior. It has a very rustic look - in a good way, with all the nice rich wooden furniture, wooden finishes, metal and flat glass windows and mosquito net! Can't comment on the restaurant as we did not eat here...keep it up..

I spent a week at the Emin Pasha while on business in Kampala. The hotel has lots of charm and old world feel. The rooms are comfortable although basic. If you prefer showers to baths, make sure you ask for a room with a shower. Not all rooms have showers. Internet was sufficient for basic email. The staff are very... More

Like time travel - Colonial Charm. A wonderful oasis in Kampala - beautiful grounds and luxurious rooms. Good food and even wifi throughout the hotel (including the rooms!). A real gem! Note - there was an issue with hot water on our arrival. But once the staff was notified it was resolved (the next day).

I've stayed in a few Kampala hotels and this is the best. Beautiful gardens and views from the charming rooms; good food and shaded pool. Lovely escape from the traffic chaos and roadworks of downtown.

Emin Pasha was a great venue for my niece's 16th birthday dinner. The staff were really considerate and anticipated our every need for the function. The food was fresh and delicious. We had a really wonderful time and will be back soon...absolutely!
