Everything worked. The staff is excellent. The food is great. The workout center is one of the best I've ever seen and is better than the Hyatt international standard. Just a fantastic hotel in every way. You do have to go through security at the gate which takes awhile but worth it. I was staying at the Africana but the...

Very lovely and comfortable hotel. I live in kampala and know the prices, Explorer restaurant drinks are overpriced and I got a shocking bill, please be sure to ask the price of something which is not on the menu, you will not be advised before hand!

Worked logistics for US DVs and found the Serena to meet all expectations. Beautiful setting. Great security. Excellent food, services and presentation. Absolutely the best Sunday brunch in Kampala. This is the first choice for my next visit, business or pleasure.

Absolutely fantastic hotel located in central Kampala. Beautiful building and grounds with great options for dining. Pool area was a treat after spending time on the streets of Kampala. Price is high, but worth it! One of the nicest hotels I have stayed at.

I had a weekend to spend with my daughter in the traffic crazy city of Kampala and the Serena proved that you can have a great stay without the madness of traffic! There was plenty to do indoors: excellent food and service, choice of restaurants, great pool, lush gardens, gym, spa, wi-fi and of course the unmatched hospitality!

Hospitality is endemic to Africans, the team at Kampala Serena take it to an exhilarating level. The welcome from the frontline team makes one feel their warmth long before they say a word, exotic decor in the foyer touches the senses in a challenging yet comfortable way. The rooms and seamless service blend into one experience that makes you want...

We travelled to Uganda on a trip with colleagues in April 2015. The Kampala Serena Hotel met and exceeded our expectations for accommodations and service. We always felt safe due to their double security measures at the gate and then again in the hotel, despite recent terrorist threats to foreign visitors staying in hotels in Kampala. The food was fantastic...

Went for a business lunch with some colleagues, they really put me down infront of my seniors! The food took time when we clearly mentioned that we are in hurry and would like to have lunch first. We asked the waiter how long it will take and he just looked on the other side and said he'l find out and...

Perfect location, great property with all the amenities. Excellent spa, gym and hair salon. The main restaurant Lakes is fabulous. Great buffets and friendly service.
