Excellent location on top of the hill overlooking Kampala. The staff were outstanding and very helpful. The food was more than enough to satisfy. The pricing was very good. I only have fond memories of staying here. I stayed in a self contained room at the rear of the complex, had ensuite, ceiling fan, mosquito net, the bed was very...

Be prepared no alcohol served here so smuggle it in. You are liable to be joined at breakfast in the morning by one of the many pastors for prayers at your table..the cry of "what would Jesus do? Is heard quite often. Food is traditional Ugandan and rooms and facilities are just ok. The jungle drums are very efficient here,...

The rooms were large and had en-suites but the flat bed mattresses and stained/hard linen desperately need replacing. Basic maintenance of minor faults lacking. Food okay and view good. Broadband only available in rooms.

I think I've found my go-to place in Kampala. I came in early in the morning (like 5:00) from the airport, and it was great to find a clean, fresh room to rest up in before a busy afternoon and evening. Pretty and quiet. Great food. Decent price. The only downside was, I had lots of bags which they put...

Namirembe provided good facilities - clean room, decent facilities, wifi in the reception area and business centre (it didn't seem to work in my room). The food was good - nice to have a choice of African dishes. The really big plus was the spectacular view from the bedroom right across Kampala. One of the best views I've had from...

My wife and I were traveling to Uganda for the first time and NGH played a huge role. Airport pickup? Check. Safe and secure compound? Check. Clean and tidy room with comfortable beds, amazing housekeeping staff, running hot water and a balcony view that never got old? Check. We stayed at NGH for 3 weeks and I'll never forget how...

The simple room (in the old wing) was the right price for our family. Nothing fancy, but it was clean and the hot shower worked. The fan kept us cool. The buffet dinner and breakfast were good, with great service from the staff! We checked out the cathedral next door - I would recommend walking over there, it's beautiful!

Buffet dinner was excellent. Great view of the city (if you're on the right side of the hotel, or while eating dinner). Our team only spent one night but it would be a good base for any team working in Kampala.

I stayed at the Namirembe Guest House recently. The location was good. I had a wonderful city view from my room. The only real problems I had with my room were the ants and roaches. I must admit, I hate them both, and was afraid of them getting in my luggage. On my third night of battling this issue, I...
