Our network there (so remote in the bush) is too poor for swipe machines, which would also make the payment unreliable at both sides. Also we rely on solar power. I would like to introduce swipe payments, but first I have to be sure for both you and myself that it works reliable to avoid misunderstandings.
However: It is always possible to get Zambian Kwachas at ATM's both in Petauke and Mfuwe before traveling to Malama. You will need a VISA card for that.
