We stayed there twice, for 4 days. The people are really nice and welcoming, eager to help, the rooms are clean and well kept. We stayed in a room with shared bathroom and the bathroom was also always clean. We really enjoyed our stay there and if ever in Nepal again we will defiantly come back!

I stayed at Yeti Guesthouse a few times while in and out of Kathmandu in October and November 2014. Nice guesthouse in the middle of the Thamel but down a serenely quiet alley! Not only were the rooms and shared bathroom very clean, the rooms are very spacious considering the price. The major plus here however is the hot water,...

I stayed in yeti a couple of times after coming and going to other places around Nepal. It was always spotlessly clean, it's in a good location in Thamel, the staff are kind and helpful. You can leave a bag while you go trekking for a very small fee. It was really excellent value, i stayed during the low season...

I stayed in room 410 for three nights. Perfectly clean, top end bathroom facilities, extremely comfortable bed and clean clean pillow. Not a little thing when you are traveling. I brought my own blow up pillow but didn't need to use it here. The family that runs this hotel is very hospitable and will help you with anything you need,...

The staff was very friendly and kind. They let us leave our baggage there for a week after our stay, without booking future stay. The rooms are nice and very good value for the price, and the location is excellent - right in the middle of the thamel. The only down side was the noise & music coming from nearby...

We stayed in a twin room (406) on the side away from the new Dalai La Hotel. Each night we were serenaded by at least two different music venues, but these stopped by midnight. It was pleasant gentle music, possibly acoustic guitars. Mr Ram organised a car for a trip to Bhaktapur and surrounds. Wonderfully clean rooms, with friendly effective...

I would recommend this hotel for someone looking for great location and a comfy stay. It's not a 5 star of course but having spent 2 weeks in volunteer accommodation it almost felt like it! In the very heart of Thamel it is just a stone’s throw to good local restaurants as well as Western ones if you are missing...

I had a wonderful time with the Yeti family. We arrived at the airport and the hotel representative was there to meet us, which was great. The hotel is in an excellent location at Thamel which is surrounded by different restaurants and bars, which was very good for solo and family travelers and the bedroom and bathroom are clean and...

Over many years and trips to Nepal I am so thankful and lucky I found the Yeti Guest House. It is truly a jewel of a family-ran budget guest house. I have always felt very safe and I have never had a problem at this guest house. Not only is the Yeti safe, reasonably priced, with VERY CLEAN rooms; but...
