I visit Nepal once a year from 2012 and I always stay in Asmita B&B each time. It gives me a sense of simple, safe and clean. It’s a small guest house. The amenities are quite basic but I can see its improving little by little over time, such as the continuity of power supply, hot water supply, wifi connection...

We stayed at Asmita B&B early December for 3 nights and trekked for 3 days in the Kathmandu valley with Dharma and Sohann. Not sure how Asmita B&B compares to other hostels in the same price range (roughly 30$ a night on a double occupancy basis, breakfast included) but the main basic amenities are there: no power outages, running hot...

Asmita and Dharma organised my transport and permits and set me up with Sohan, an amazing guide, for a fabulous trek around the Annapurna Circuit in November 2015.. This is a small place and just perfect to come back to after a long trek. The location is great, the beds comfortable and the showers hot. The family was very welcoming...

Absolutely love this place and the family who owns it. They make you feel at home, make great generous meals. My room was on the third floor. Great space to do yoga in. It has windows on all three walls. It was exceptionally clean. I will be back one day. Om Shanti Shanti.

Stayed here with my wife as I wanted her to experience the Nepal that I have loved on previous visits. The B&B is great and on one of the quieter streets of Thamel, if Thamel could be said to have any quiet streets! We went on the three day trek with Dharma which my wife really enjoyed.
