When we arrived for the initial stay, the Manager informed us they did not have a room for us due to a holdover stay. Apparently, a climber had injured his leg and was not able to leave his room. We were then...

Good by Nepali standards. Clean with friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast menu is satisfactory. I ate out most mornings. Can be noisy (there is a late night bar across the street). Very affordable accomodation. I'd stay here again.

We just stayed at Hotel Buddha. Let me first say that the Staff, like most people in Nepal, are hospitable and gracious hosts. The hotel lobby is a great place to relax and the garden breakfast is a fine way to start the morning. It is located in Thamel and walking distance to many restaurants, bars and shopping. That being...

We stayed at n the Buddha hotel three times in April 2017, as we were going off travelling. The hotel were great at helping us out with taxis and luggage storage. The hotel itself is in an ideal location, and the staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. The lady on reception was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. I...

We booked in for a couple of nights at different points of our trip. The staff were very friendly, almost to the point of annoying. But is hard to fault friendliness. They made a special effort with our room. On our second visit they had somehow missed our booking. Maybe because we had two separate bookings and I confirmed both...
