The family was really welcoming towards me. I had my 1st night complimentary dinner with Bouddi (the boss) and his wonderful family. The family members and staff are really friendly; warm and welcoming ready to help. It made me felt I was part of their family. The homestay felt quite luxurious and homely to me, from the bedrooms, washroom, balcony,...

For almost a week I had the pleasure to encounter the wonderful hospitality of this homestay. Good breakfast, a clean room, a hot shower and a delicious dinner with the owner's family. I can really recommend this place!

We came back to this homestay 3 times whilst in Kathmandu because we liked it so much. Rooms very comfortable we stayed in room with attached and without attached bathroom both were absolutely fine. The staff at this homestay are fantastic and go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. A nice touch also is that they provide complimentary...

I stayed almost three weeks at the Blue Mountain Homestay in Kathmandu: I loved it! The family really made me feel at home. The location is perfect: a really nice, local and quite neighbourhood, but only five minutes walk away from busy Thamel. The rooms are clean and very big, enough blankets and even a heater to keep you warm,...

We stayed for three days at the Blue Mountain Homestay in order to visit Thamel within a walking distance. It only takes you about ten minutes to reach the centre of Thamel. The homestay provides free breakfast and invites guest to a homestay dinner with the whole family, which is an unique experience. Thereby, you can face the limitless friendlyness...

I am perplexed at all the great reviews because it takes a lot for me to write a bad one. We spent 2 months in Nepal and were very happy with all of our other stays. At first Blue Mountain Homestay was fine. Location is not in Thamel as they advertise but a 10 minute walk away, which was ok....

Everyone is very friendly and you feel home right away! You get as much bottles of water and tea you want, wifi works well, very affordable and it's close to Thamel, but in a bit more quiet place, which is the best of both worlds to me. The owner invited me to a typical nepali dinner with his family, they're...

I stayed here for 6 days as my Internship organizer introduced me. Especially the staffs, Bhim, Rana and Sameer welcomed me warmly and they helped me so much with anything I needed- they cooked me delicious breakfast and dinner everyday, made coffee/tea anytime, they even walked me to a local barber (called beauty salon) when I asked them where I...
