The boudha stupa is within easy walking distance. A very good hotel with 2 restaurants we only ate in the main restaurant and only ordered from the a la carte menu, plenty of choice but I would add to be careful my wife ordered the Thai green curry which we have had on many occasions in the uk and we...

We spent three nights in February. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and friendly staff ready to accommodate their guests. Behind the hotel is the Boudhanath Stupa a five minute walk. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with the same standards found in the U.S. including choices. The hotel has live classical musicians playing in the evening in the lobby. This hotel...

As we drove from the airport in Kathmandu to the Hyatt Regency I told myself not to expect much. If you've been to Kathmandu, you know what I mean. All around there was evidence of the terrible earthquake that hit Kathmandu in April 2015. There were people still living in tent cities. So, when I got to the Hyatt Regency,...

This was used to be the best hotel in Kathmandu to stay but recently with the change of top management the quality of service at hotel has gone down (real sad) Building of hotel is really beautiful and majestic. This hotel used to take care of their long time customers pretty well but during this stay I did not experience...

The hotel is well located and reasonably maintained. As a business group we upgraded to club level but had to change rooms several times. The magnetic locks never work and I had to change access cards 8 times during my stay. There are constant weddings and noise during weekdays - even rowdy guests on the club floor. The rooms were...

This was our first time in Kathmandu and were totally pleased with our stay at the Hyatt Regency. From our check-in until we left the service was superb. At the end of our stay we had a change of plans and they were able to extend our check out by a half day until we left in the evening. Our...

I was told that it's 16 years old property. Exterior and lobby area is maintained but room, in which I stayed 515, was very basic. It does not meet the price I paid. Other hotels' rooms are far better than this. Water blocks in bathroom and spa bathrooms. You need to do something.
