Well located in Thamel, the area provides many shops and restaurants. The hotel has a really nice reception, very nice restaurant as well with live Nepali music in te evening. They offer a good breakfast as well. The staff is very helpful, and they always make sure that you are well looked after. I stayed there on two different occasions.... More

We have been to Nepal already last year and came often into the restaurant of this Hotel for lunch and dinner, as it has excellent traditional nepali food! The staff was always VERY nice and invited us last year even to their Diwali-Festival even though we back then were not guests of the hotel. So this year we wanted to... More

I stayed here before and after a 10 day trek to the Langtang Valley in May. Hotel Manang was a delight. The room was clean and a decent size. When I had a problem with the air conditioner, it was repaired within the hour. Breakfast was was delicious and varied. Some mornings breakfast was buffet style and others it was... More

My trekking company organised the hotel, so stayed here before and after my trek. The first room #503 was quite small and fitted out to an average standard. The shower was poor on the first use but then was better thereafter - not sure why that was. Had occasional electricity black-outs but these did not last long (5 minutes). Not... More

Stayed there 3 times for a couple of nights each time as I travelled to different parts of Nepal. Good location at the north end of Thamel with close access to lots of shops and restaurants. Buffet breakfast was good, especially when they offered the omelettes. Didn't have evening meal wanted to try the "local" options.

We stayed here for 2 nights before starting a trek. It's located in a very central location which makes sight seeing and shopping easy. The room was clean but quiet noisy due to the car horns outside. Breakfast was mix of Nepalese and Western styles, don't eat the jam.
