This hotel is situated north of Thamel as is a peaceful place amoung the noisy and busy streets of Thamel. The inner garden is quite a joy. The manager is helpful and kind. The storage they offer if you go trekking is trustworthy. The rooms are clean and they offer fans (which are enough) if the temperature gets too hot....

We stayed here both before and after our trek. The hotel was peaceful, comfortable and clean. There was plenty of hot water anytime and if had free wifi in the public areas. The staff here we amazing, friendly and efficient, giving us information and directions to the local sites. The courtyard was like a oasis of calm amongst the hubbub...

I stayed in 3 different rooms during my stay in Nepal. (Before and after trekking) The rooms were clean and comfortable but WIFI was patchy unless near the reception. Breakfasts were basic but sufficient (toast, eggs, tea/coffee). The courtyard garden was by far the best thing! Kathmandu was hot, dusty, noisy and polluted so coming back to a green tranquil...

We stayed at the International Guesthouse before and after our trekking in Nepal. What an oasis, with very friendly staff, nice rooms, excellent food and service and a beautiful garden where you can relax or have something to eat or drink. The location couldn't be better-in het Thameldistrict, close to all the useful shops and nice restaurants!

Great location right in the thick of Kathmandu, but with a lovely peaceful garden to relax in away from the hustle and bustle. Rooms clean and with good air con. Food also good, staff extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend The International Guesthouse and look forward to visiting again later on this year.

Guest house misleading - more of a small hotel. Tucked away on a side street in Thamel. Rooms basic but clean. Great advantage was air con in the polluted city. Restauarant good with inexpensive and good food...we loved the chilly chips! Staff very friendly and helpful. Internet access very patchy. Good value for the price but don't expect and luxury

The room was okay, but not worth the price. It was pretty clean, and bright, but not worth the 32$ we were charged. The wifi did not work on the first floor, seemed to be the case for a lot of guests as approx. 12 were using it in reception the area on he evening of our stay. The staff...

This guesthouse was the perfect way to complete our travel. We wanted something with a good location but a bit removed from the business of Thamel. Our room was amazing and even within the room the adults had some much needed privacy. It may have been my most restful night of sleep in Nepal. The name gives the impression of...

We visited this hotel twice - once before we attempted the Thorang-La pass and once after and what a gem this hotel has been both times. This hotel is situated in Thamel which is considered the tourist district of Kathmandu. This means that you can find a wide array of food and trekking equipment around the hotel. From Mexican to...

Great hotel at perfect location , just a little further away from Thamel but within a walking distance from the center. Also provides excellent service and has a beautiful garden in the back yard. Rooms were clean and big.
