Stayed in the hotel for four nights and was impressed with the no frills efficiency. the only downside is that the place has extremely limited dining options. The coffee though is very good and is available readily. helpful and friendly staff, the location is good and so are the services including wi-fi offered by the hotel. Cosy and comfortable the...

We stayed in the Holy Himalaya hotel before and after our Everest Base camp trek with Himalayan Social Journeys (8 nights). The hotel is ideally located in Thamel district, which is great for the last moment shopping for trekking gear (has hundreds of trekking gear outlets nearby), as well as local souvenirs art and craft. Some rooms in the hotel...

We were booked here by our tour company Social Tours, it is not somewhere I would stay - it is not three star but two star. The rooms are poorly maintained and not checked properly - when we arrived the shower did not work properly. It was an easy problem to spot and the person cleaning the room should have...

Got this hotel as part of my package from Mission Eco Trek. Glad that the rooms were spacious and clean. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was a good spread – some sliced bread, a couple of buns, pastries and some carbs – potatoes, pastas or noodles – and everything was delicious. Coffee, tea, and...

I stayed at the Holy Himalaya in 2013 and was very glad to have the opportunity to stay there again on my recent Habitat for Humanity Global Village trip. The addition of the new building has made this an even more impressive facility. Rooms are spacious, hotel is quiet, location is idea for Thamel and the endless cups of complimentary...

Stayed at this hotel prior and after completing our 5-day Langtang Trek. Room is good-sized, clean with good strong-pressure hot water shower. Exactly what I needed after a tiring trek. Location is great with good eating places within walking distance. Given the crazy traffic in KTM I'd really rather walk than take transport. Yet the hotel is set back far...

Very nice clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. The money exchange at reception was as good if not better a better rate ($AU) than any of the specialist money changers. Great breakfast in the restaurant.
